This is probably pretty close.  I was equally as impressed with Sniders win in Indy as I was with how bad Leurs was.  EN is definitely better than last year though.

East Noble looked the part against Luers..I was shocked they didn't recieve votes in the ifca poll..I'm putting the panthers on upset alert this week..

Reminds me of 2004. Maybe not that good, but potential for sure.

Exactly..that team had a few 4.4 guys though..with the main threat being injured..oh what could have been.. that team had laser focus as well..we will see Friday if this team can come close to that bar..

Good win for sure for the Snider program. I felt like they were dismissed after the 2019-2021 campaigns. As long as Tippmann and Isaacs are there, they'll be significant. From what I saw last night, this team has the potential to be one of Snider's better teams. Good defense and good running are pretty solid ingredients.

I agree that most people around the state had Warren winning this game. Komets had Snider 28-27. Football Fans on Facebook had Warren by a count of roughly 32-8.

Why Warren was suppose to win: How could they not with as many guys they have in the trenches with D1 programs looking at them. Coach Kirschner is in his third year at the helm and he has a pretty good track record.

Why Warren lost: They had almost ZERO experience returning from their skill position guys on offense. Everyone just expects Warren to reload. Furthermore, I'm not sure anyone realized how good Snider's defense really is. Tough way to start for a bunch of new skill guys. I'm sure Warren will be a different team by Week 10 after these new guys get some reps in.

True..their passing game was slightly off..Warren will be a force as usual once passing kinks are worked out..

I'll be the 1st to admit I had Snider as the underdog taking it on the chin wk 1. The playmaker at qb had tons of help from the defense n the o line composed themselves despite a few missed assignments..enjoy yet don't dwell on this one Panthers..lots of work to be done..

  4. It was a mixed bag..Warren had dbs n backers that jumped routes..he threw the pick after settling in yet seemed to be able to read the field throughout the 2nd half...he will be fine..

That's how you win games. Did Snider QB have much of a passing game, or could pass when needed, other than the Pick 6?

Interesting. first game of the season so really not sure what the the game result tell ypu?? Anyway, don't think any really had Snider winning this game, so glad they got the W. Hope they build off that, don't  have a "let down" next week.

Warren had a few chances..the passing game just wasn't in sync for them as of yet..they had size n speed..the panthers really punched back early n a couple kids played both sides of the ball..the scheme of the run game did well against their edge rush..qb made some incredible runs when scrambling..rb1 showed he could step up..wr1 came off the bench..the defense buoyed them during turnovers n penalty miscues n ultimately won them the game..special teams were huge this game..

Snider's been successful in the past with quick running quarterbacks. In fact, some of their better teams have been very run heavy. Could this offense resemble the one in 2004? Probably not the depth that team had, but I can see the potential. Looking forward to Buchanan's break out season.

Thought the same..04 team had few guys running 4.4 40's at few spots though..qb may also have a breakout target at wr along with the usual suspects at te..I'm sure the playbook will be limited week 1..good thing is wc won't take long to expose any areas of opportunity..

I think you are talking about Aaron Vance. It will likely come down to him or Ke'ron Biilingsley for QB1.

Appears the senior will be qb1 to start the season..Panthers usually roll with seniors even if it cost them against elite programs..not saying that is the case on this one..he is a playmaker..tippy adjusts when he needs to..
