Wanted to see others thoughts on what they expect from Snider this season. Here are my thoughts:
1. Panthers will be very run oriented. I think there will be a 1,200 yard rusher
2. Defense will be pretty good.
3. Schedule is improved with Warren Central on it, East Noble I don’t understand. If you wanted to play East Noble, then just play another SAC game. Not going to get better playing East Noble and to make it worse, I think they have a 4 year contract with them
I can see Snider going anywhere from 8-1 to 5-4. I see them as underdogs to Warren and Carroll, rest they will be double digit favorites. QB play will be huge for the Panthers
They have a ton of athletes..don't really see 6-3 seasons too often..a sectional title would suffice..wc giving them 1 loss..regional title..finishing unscathed..ss title..that being said East Noble is "sneaky" good n playing at their place will be all they need for an "upset". The tailgate scene rivals a naia crowd.

I hope that 8 footer is playing hoops after Football.
No hoops for this young fella, I hear he is one of the best wrestlers in the nation though 😉

Didnt want to bombard another post that was referring to D1 talent..sni high supposedly have a few in their ranks this year..parents may fabricate from time to time though..imho D1 talent usually "pops" when on the field..we will see if the visits were warranted..I did notice on max preps someone listed at 8'0" 320lbs..👀🏆😆

I was surprised when I heard that they may be moved back to 4A. But heard that last year too. Will see how it turns out.
I know the first two games will not be fun to watch.
Anyone know when the decision will be made on the 5a/4a classification?

I'm not sure there's any debating that guy. He gets his mind set on one sided opinions from the perspective of a fan coming out of NW Indiana.
Ahh..well score one for nwi..like the tenacity

Chesterton had a few. It’s definitely an interesting topic. But I think if you got last 10 years the DAC has it for football.
Not so fast my friend..with the addition of Homestead and Carroll the sac has produced just as many if not more than dac..Snider itself has produced double digits the last 5 years

Those more in the know with football in the Fort, fill in the blank.
”If Snider can stay within ___ points of Warren in week 1, it proves they are a 5A state title contender.”
17 to 18..wc would get 21+ on most 5a programs..in the 1st half..

I wonder where did Lambert go? He was a very good back, thought he may have had a chance at a non P5 school?
Unfortunately 40 times play a large part in that..

Dwenger n North should both be in 4a..

It's kind of a shame that these conversations always center around the schools with the most resources. It's not really a fair fight. Teams at the lower levels rarely are given credit as Top 10 programs.
True..most would say all top 10 should be in or around the doughnut..maybe breaking it up geographically would allow the Gibson southerns and Adam centrals of the state their due credit..

I think you are talking about Aaron Vance. It will likely come down to him or Ke'ron Biilingsley for QB1.
I usually avoid names on here..some kids ran track last year clocking a few decent times so their team speed looks to be improving..losing their top offensive guys..one being a game breaking D1 recruit will not be easy..even with a strong Jr class valpo's n Carroll's line didnt get any smaller..we have seen teams dwell on a deep post season run from prior years n lay an egg or use it as a spring board for success...regular season included...which path this year's team follows will be evident week 1...lining up with the storied wc program is a heckuva litmus test..

The junior class is talented, qb1 could be the Jr, pretty lanky and had good mechanics. Just like Dwenger n many other programs, some of the best athletes are walking the hallways and this year will be no different. However mums the word on blitzes info.
-
Districs don't sound bad..Logistics may be tough for a few programs..others have fan bases that already don't travel...maybe a 1a-3a, 4a-6a or crossovers of 1a-4a, 3a-6a..

What 3A/4A A.D. or Coach in their right mind would willingly schedule Center Grove at the moment? They either must believe than can make mucho $ at the gate or they are truly desperate.
Chatard..roncalli..new pal? Some 5a programs might risk it..the gate alone .. ✔

Not sure if they have feeder programs for bc that would bolster whatever scheme they decide on..they will have the athletes..ac has the benefit of k-12 growth vs. bc patching together talented transfer portal kids..

I can however continue to mention that pound for pound 5a is a laughing stock (this year) in comparison to the 4 other classes
Here I'll throw you a bone
Any of the 5a listed teams other than whiteland would have made it to Lucas oil in 4a at least
4a north is actually that bad (still waiting at kilroys)
A glimmer of light through all this 5a shade...pound for pound 5a programs are 5a for a reason..4a North wouldn't be as weak if Dwenger (a true 4a power) didn't get sf a few years back..shaaaade😎

But I stated all this months ago when I mentioned 2015 snider would have absolutely trounced this years team
That team would have trounced a ton teams..
Valpo had the size to match up with top tier 4a n with their rb1 back they would be a tough out..Snider had the speed just not the size needed in November football being played outdoors..
I've seen bigger teams yet don't think they lose 10 out of 10..
-
10 out of 10?? Blasphemy
-
5a was down..5a was weak this year..so many posts throwing shade? Whats the cause? 4a south had some great teams at the top..so did 5a..what makes an entire class "weak" compared to their counterparts? Everyone thinking valpo and Whiteland lose 2 out of 3 against top 3 4a programs?

Bowen won the award last year..this year didnt hurt..if the athlete who led the nation in rushing lost to a lineman yet now a lineman has no shot at the award reigns true is where the true "travesty" resides..

It is not the first time. Mike Bohn led the nation in rushing in 1993 while leading Roncalli to a State title. Award went to an O-lineman.

I believe that the rumor I'd heard is that Vlahogeorge and Keller attended Catholic elementary schools before settling at Jeff. Don't know if anyone can confirm or not.
They led the state in passing their senior year..honestly wouldn't be shocked if they were cyo kids..Keller probably always played on Sundays
