  1. But not as prime as Clinton or Tipton Counties, where the entire County looks prime. There is also one main landowner in Northwest Hamilton County. He may not want wind farms on his land.
  2. No, but in.gov has wind speed maps: https://www.in.gov/oed/2425.htm
  3. I don't know what a NIMBY is. Do you think there's a chance the Feds will intervene in the Local Government's decisions regarding the wind farms. After all, aren't you a proponent of keeping more decisions in the local government's jurisdiction? From a wind standpoint there is a big difference. Clinton County compares closely to Benton County in that regard. Benton County has 4 wind farms totalling 457 windmills. Clinton County has none.
  4. Not enough wind. Why isn't there one in Clinton County?
  5. The ones at The Alamo didn't work very well.
  6. More "free market" hyperbole. They had their chance, they're the ones who began poisoning us to start with. There aren't any.
  7. I understand that you want your children and grandchildren to have a debt free government, even if it means they’ll be poisoned by pollution.
  8. "Madam, do you have a spa moment for a picture?"
  9. Did you think these Electrical Utility companies were building these new plants without passing the cost along? Maybe the percentage is higher than 68% https://www.instituteforenergyresearch.org/uncategorized/the-escalating-cost-of-electricity/ https://www.instituteforenergyresearch.org/electricity-rate-increases-begin-new-england/ https://www.citact.org/energy-policy-fossil-fuels-and-nuclear-energy-utility-rates-and-regulation-duke-energy/2018-duke-edwardsport http://www.windustry.org/how_much_do_wind_turbines_cost
  10. That’s because 68% of Americans are too stupid to know they are already paying $10/month or more for it for several years now.
  11. I guess we should ask why Trump is afraid of CNN then.
  12. https://www.wkyc.com/article/news/nation-world/texas-border-mayor-immigration-crisis-rhetoric-hurts-citys-image/507-626970585 McAllen, Texas — The president addressed the nation Tuesday night, laying out his case on why border security must include a wall, after deeming the situation at the border as a ‘crisis’. But what do those who run local governments at the border say? “The ‘crisis’ doesn’t affect us, except the rhetoric does,” said McAllen Mayor Jim Darling. McAllen is a booming border city in deep south Texas with over 140,000 residents. Darling often boasts that the city has one of the lowest crime rates in the nation. “When you put the army, the National Guard, DPS, etc., it gives the illusion that we’re in a dangerous area,” said Darling. “When you talk about a crisis on the border, that adds to it.” It’s an image problem that cities along the border have had to fight against for years throughout several presidential administrations, as bad publicity scares away investment, argues Darling.
