Apparently saying team a is worse than team b and or there is no reason to believe team a is better than team b is belittling accomplishments. So please everyone for boilernation's sake, please refrain from talking about who the best teams are, similarly please dont talk about hypothetical matchups

Never said anything about Andrean Or lowell Talking about tqo schools in particular that are consistently overrated every year. The fort wayne schools are typically rated fairly at least, if not slightly under appreciated

Ft wayne schools have gone down to LOS and won Valpo did it once, when 5a was arguably at its weakest. Believe me I enjoy good football, I'd love for the northwest to be competitive on a yearly basis

excuse me? I was one of like 2 people on this website that predicted Carroll to beat HSE in semistate. If I recall I did pick CG to win the title, but obviously I would have been correct.

in the last 10 years, an Indy school has won 5a state 60% of the time, and a 4a school has won it 50% of the time. Westfield won it once on I believe their last year in 5a.

no idea when anyone said anything about DC in previous years, wasn't me, so we can go ahead and drop the 'you all' harping on a game decided in the last 15 seconds 10 years later, remind me how many state titles does new pal have since that game? Haven't gotten to see Carrol or Crown Point play, but I imagine DC vs Carroll would be a solid game this year, Don't think anyone has said DC would be a favorite in 5a or 6a this year. Just that they are a good team.

I watched them play, and I think they are a very good football team, as temp mentioned, they have incredible speed. I don't think they are going to state in 6a this year, however I wouldn't be surprised if they gave someone a hell of a game on the way.

DC passes the eye test CP traveled all the way to indianapolis, and instead of scheduling any form of competition they scheduled pike, loss of an opportunity Merrillville lost to the only team on their schedule that had the potential to give them credibility

most of those teams play each other, or have some common opponent

and if you swap their schedules with Merrillville then their records will swap identically

Cam we please talk about how CP'S only legitimate win is against Merriville, who themselves dont even have a win on record worth declaring them a good team. You cannot even really transitive property these teams, it doesn't hold up. We're just going off historical performance, and the historical performance doesn't look good! Also I think carrol is pretty good this year

I suppose history can attribute to rankings you know, how DC is the defending 5a state champs and how teams like crown point come down to Indy to lose by 3/4 touchdowns
