The only foul I can see is that word 'Member' right under your name. Why not change that to 'Booster'?

    https://gridirondigest.net/clients/donations/

C'mon man, with your loquaciousness just Take The Time for a donation. It's quick and easy. @temptationtook the time. @Donnie Bakereven took the time.

Take the time, then send us a pic of your giant clock around your neck please!

I will donate 20 dollars if you beat me in a pokemon battle

  2. against the wishes of my court appointed therapist (she don't know nuffin)

I will be gracing a team with my presence for the 2023 season

If you're a head coach looking for some help in the next year then look no further

I will be taking over the role of defensive coordinator

and due to my philosophical beliefs; the best defense is a good offense

I will also be taking care of the offensive coordinator position.

I don't believe in punting, kicking field goals, the one point conversion, sportsmanship of any kind, the mercy rule, throwing the ball before the final moments of a blowout victory, or the curvature of the earth

in order to garner more practice time for glorious tackling drills

we will only be running two offensive plays

Dive, and the fake victory formation touchdown pass

we will be splitting practice into two sections everyday

3 and a half hours of weight training

and 3 and a half hours of tackling drills

I'll refrain from exposing my defensive strategic genius here

yes I absolutely will be taking over a teaching job at your school

I fancy myself a shaper of young minds

However I will only teach Calculus, US Supremacy History, or Art

please refrain from any offers below 2a

I need the space in my inbox

p.s. your town must have a dive bar with at least one old crazy dude in there daily, and I mean absolutely nuts

p.p.s. this has been sent to my editor, and he has assured me there is no foul language of any kind.

Considering I have either coached or played sports for my entire life, how in the **** can you say it is a moot point? Man, I just don’t get it…

there is no logic behind this type of statement.

considering I did this, how can you think that?

    let me rephrase for you

considering I have driven 30082092374 miles this year, how can you possibly think a simple bus ride will have an effect on the game.

(whichever side of the argument you're on I think we can agree that we should use sound logic in our arguments, and then we should remove the mercy rule because it is an abomination).

What are the home team players doing while the visiting team is traveling to the game?

    Eating, sleeping, playing video games?

This is an overstated idiom that has grown legs with zero to little factual supporting data.

probably watching film for next week since this one is in the bag by virtue of playing at home.

My marathon personal best came on a night where I got 3.5 hours of sleep the night before, lost an hour due to the time change and traveled 3.5 hours the night before...and I was twice the age of a high school football player at the time.

imagine how hard life is for the kids who have to get on the school bus first every morning throughout their schooling.

Not at 18, you don't.  Its a built in excuse.

I've had some of my best performances where I traveled 2+ hours and/or gotten little sleep the night before due to anxiety/excitement.

I don't think you understand! if you get on a bus for 2 hours, your entire body shuts down. You basically forfeit the game.

I can live with that. I'll concede and say that the advantage is slight. Although Rodney made a good point regarding field conditions. A muddy field isn't going to do any favors for a team that is used to playing on turf.

to elaborate I wasn't talking about field conditions, I'm simply stating if there exists a home field advantage, to think that it exists for every team equally is laughable. We could make a team out of Gridiron Digest members and waltz into any IPS school and mercy rule them (remove the mercy rule). Hell, we'd probably bring a bigger crowd with us as well. But Roncalli was absolutely wild on Friday, and not a place I would like to have to play at.

  8. this is boring, why are you all even arguing about it still. (all in format sucks)

-78 first round match-ups that pitted a top half Sagarin team vs a bottom half Sagarin rated team. Bottom half teams went 2-76 and both promptly lost the next round.

-Monrovia was the ONLY bottom half Sagarin team in the entire state to advance to a sectional final by virtue of beating a top half Sagarin team. Literally a statistical anomaly. They also drew the worst rated team in the entire class by virtue of a postseason format that doesn’t reward regular season success.

-A run like Monrovia is on happens once in a blue moon, they’d happen even less if the IHSAA put on a tournament that acknowledged a 2.5 month regular season took place prior. Keeping a flawed postseason for the sake of a statistical anomaly doesn’t make sense, it never will.

This exercise I believe has run its course and the numbers don’t lie. They never have. Add a tenth regular season game, eliminate half the field at the conclusion of the regular season, acknowledge, reward, and seed teams based on regular season success just as it’s done everywhere else and hope for a better, more competitive tournament throughout.

can we compromise and add 6 games to the regular season instead, 15 seems like a good number.

But yet we all supposed to believe the Almighty Temptation when he says it doesn't make a difference . Where is your Spreadsheet that says it doesn't make a difference?  Any long ride , rather it be Plane , car, bus, and train has an effect on the human body . Rather it be sports , academics etc.

Some people are just built different.

I once drove 36 hours straight through the night  in order to make it home in time to go to the bars Saturday.

straight out the u haul and to the bars at 6pm

side note: a 2 hour bus ride ain't shit.

Valpo doesn't have Charles Salary (great RB at LaPorte and Marian U) or a long time HC eyeing his final shot at a State Final's appearance. The stars aligned for the Slicers in 2014. Snider is fine this year if they just show up and play their game. Valpo doesn't have enough offensive talent to win a shootout. The fact Valpo is still alive is a testament to how well Marshall is coaching them and they were fortunate enough to only have Duneland opponens on their playoff schedule up to this point. I think the run ends Friday night at Northrop.

WOAH THROWING SOME SHADE AT THE PREMIERE 5A FOOTBALL CONFERENCE
