  1. I'd like to suggest that we consider warren central a 5a blueblood considering any/all of their dominance was in 5a not 6a.
  2. Kind of silly conversation Penn was good 40 years ago and nobody can take that away from them. but they are a complete non factor as of right now. Could they come back sometime? maybe but as is it would appear they would schedule a middle school if they got the chance, so I'd say its unlikely. Go Penn beat CP
  3. So i think Minnesota would be a good comparison to Penn then
  4. Most of those colleges are still relevant in football
  5. New pal still has to play plainfield this week. Which will probably be a decent game, and Uh well cathedral just has another bye
  6. He means in the last decade or so Probably 10 jv teams in Indy that could wax Penn's whole schedule
  7. I bet I can think of a team we can remove to put dwenger there.
  8. Regrets now make fond memories later
  9. I already lost 4a because highland decided to throw apparently were going with tech game 1
  10. @temptation i hate you. I'm losing my mind here trying to keep track of the apparent longest high school football game in history through box score/comments on maxpreps and this guy doesn't even have the common courtesy to describe the "big play"
  11. for those interested frankton up 30-8 greencastle up 56-8 bowman up 14-7
  12. I'm gonna need someone to drive over to East Chicago central real fast and keep us updated all night.
  13. I would like it known that I do not think Ben Davis is good, just that they are better than some of the teams ranked. and I intend to use them as well as Zionsville as a weapon to un rank Merrillville, who gave up 23 points to portage
  14. Let rodney explain Other guy said 23 had no credibility 23 basically just said why are you talking to me if I have no credibility
  15. Can we go off topic for a quick moment to talk about how this is an awesome name
  16. Meanwhile I just pick chatard and their 3 million state championships as the best program
  17. I think I broke grok he couldn't find total W/L ratio for everyone since 2000 so he used dominance points from 2013-2022 ## Top 25 Indiana High School Football Teams by Total Wins Since 2000 I was unable to find a pre-compiled, comprehensive list of total wins since 2000 for all Indiana high school football teams. However, based on available data from various sources, I can provide a ranking based on dominance metrics from 2013-2022 (as a proxy, since dominance is closely correlated with wins, rankings, and championships). For reference, Indianapolis Cathedral (a top team in that list) has 243 wins, 90 losses, and a .730 win percentage from 2000 to 2024 (including playoffs). To present the data, here's the top 20 from the 2013-2022 dominance list (the source doesn't have a full 25, but these are the top). The points are calculated as: 25 points for No. 1 in state rankings, 24 for No. 2, etc.; 50 for No. 1 in national rankings, 49 for No. 2, etc.; 20 for each state championship; 10 for each championship game appearance. This reflects performance and wins in recent years, which likely places them high in total wins since 2000. | Rank | Team (City) | Dominance Points (2013-2022) | Estimated Wins/Losses/Win % (Note: Proxy only; full since-2000 data not available) | |------|-------------------|-------------------------------|-----------------------------------| | 1 | Center Grove (Greenwood) | 478 | N/A | | 2 | Cathedral (Indianapolis) | 308 | 243-90 (.730) (2000-2024) | | 3 | Carmel | 285 | N/A | | 4 | Ben Davis (Indianapolis) | 272 | N/A | | 5 | Warren Central (Indianapolis) | 235 | N/A | | 6 | New Palestine | 184 | N/A | | 7 | Westfield | 171 | N/A | | 8 | Indianapolis Bishop Chatard (Indianapolis) | 163 | N/A | | 9 | Brownsburg | 138 | N/A | | 10 | Avon | 132 | N/A | | 10 | Columbus East (Columbus) | 132 | N/A | | 12 | Roncalli (Indianapolis) | 122 | N/A | | 13 | Penn (Mishawaka) | 116 | N/A | | 14 | Fishers | 101 | N/A | | 15 | Hamilton Southeastern (Fishers) | 98 | N/A | | 15 | Lawrence Central (Indianapolis) | 98 | N/A | | 17 | East Central (St. Leon) | 96 | N/A | | 18 | Fort Wayne Snider (Fort Wayne) | 89 | N/A | | 19 | Andrean (Merrillville) | 86 | N/A | | 20 | Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger (Fort Wayne) | 80 | N/A | Note: The dominance points are from a 2023 MaxPreps analysis covering 2013-2022. For a full since-2000 ranking, a custom aggregation of year-by-year records from sources like IHSAA, AlmanacSports, and school sites would be needed, but that data is fragmented. If you have specific teams in mind, I can try to find their individual records.
  18. but thats all go Penn (until next season)
  19. thats my reason for wanting to wins are cool and all but what would it look like if Carmel played Penn's schedule and Penn played Carmel's. also 1986 is pretty specific, lets change parameters to something more suitable to present day 2000>2025 only count wins of a school in the same class or higher than you.
  20. you're really making me want to start talking trash about penn here and I can't do that I'm still pulling for them to win their sectional
  21. we don't do that here, definitive answers only. I now have money riding on this.
  22. It would instantly validate a whole lot of conversations lol
  23. Uh because I want penn to win Same reason I wanted pike to win
  24. Im still pulling for penn I can only hope
