I will always regard luers as an excellent program simply for who they are willing to put themselves up against, more should follow in their footsteps Maybe if teams like a certain southern team would put real competition in their schedule other than heritage hills who they already play they might find real success and their fans wouldn't be relegated to whining about not being able to beat chatard

I also have to concede that other than the giant teams like luers of the past that are so good that everyone pays attention to, I'm no expert on 2a football so it's really hard to for me to make an accurate comparison. When I say 2a is down it is because I compare it to legendary teams of 2a that would mollywhop either of these teams in the state championship. Is that necessarily fair? Absolutely not, but it is my system, and it is where I feel the goal should be for these teams. Regardless it is a great season and great win, and luers players coaches and fans should be proud of their performance.

I dont think Lutheran or ac are anywhere close to a lock to beat luers. Though I'll concede this is an off year for 2a as a whole I'll take lutheran and ac serious when they show up with a real schedule. Until then ft wayne luers is everything they aspire to be.

Snider makes for a solid top 10 team this year. for the record if it makes you feel better I put them at #6 While I think any one of HSE Westfield Chatard could beat them, Snider is just as likely to win that game.

I think it shouldn't happen in any game, it is an absolute travesty to end a game early because one team skipped tackling drills.

this isn't even a down year for 5a nobody is saying there aren't a handful of good football teams in 5a this year, but I'd still throw money behind EC and Chatard to take the 5a title given the opportunity this year and don't even get me started about 5a last season because I have more than 1 or 2 teams from 3a/4a that could have walked right into 5a for a free ring last year so what we are left with is 5a is a decent class on the years where snider decides they actually want to tackle the ball carrier
