So.... What does South V do well offensively? Who are their "dudes"?
Their qb is pretty good and a true drop back passer. From the looks of max preps and what I was told prior to when we played number 17 royal is there “go to” receiver.
I don’t think you guys will have an issue.

I have no idea on the extra bleachers, but I have heard that NV concessions have been voted number one in the WRC the past 17.5 years.
I believe that.

#5 North Vermillion vs #6 Parke Heritage.
Played earlier in the season in what was the best HS game I’ve seen in person.
I believe 4 lead changes in the 4th quarter.
Wolves have the states leading passer in Logan White and leading receiver, sophomore Noble Johnson. The falcons have a great offensive line and running back Reynolds.
Will be worth the price of admissions.

Wow! Looks like you can’t stop the wolf’s.
You stopped us once Coach Boone.
Do you guys think the wolves are that bad defensively or the Falcons has their very best game vs the Wolves in their first meeting.
Also, does NV usually bring in extra bleachers for the tournament?

That's two things. Now I'm cornfused.?
One thing as in stopping the opponents best offense weapon lol
i think that makes sense ?

In my opinion it comes down to one thing...
can the falcons slow down logan white’s arm?
Can the wolves slow down Reynolds and the NV run game?
Whoever does the above better wins!

Valuable content? Ok, you asked for it:
In this WRC Sectional Championship matchup the Wolfs have:
*the leading passer (by almost double the yards)
*the leading rusher
*the top THREE leading receivers
*the total yards leader (again, by almost double)
*the Wolfs have outscored the Falcons by 47 points in WRC games (133 in all games)
*the Wolfs have given up 16 more points than the Falcons in WRC games, BUT have given up 3 fewer points on the total season.
So yeah, I think I’ll change my prediction: Wolfs 178, Falcons 20.
Thank you.

Wolfs 148, Falcons 30. They will have to replace the LED lights in the NV scoreboard after the Wolfs invade Cayuga for a 2nd time this season. The Wolfs are just too much of a juggernaut on offense to beat twice in one season.
48-42 wolves win in OT

Are you like this in your everyday life or just behind the keyboard? Do you wanna put together any valuable content for fans?

How was the south put vs NV game?
Wolves were finally able to have success on the ground I believe. Number 56 for Attica is a freak.

It’s what we all wanted! Should be another amazing game!
2 great coaches.
2 great teams.
Let the discussion begin.
Will there be extra bleachers?

Any station broadcasting the NV SP game?

Anyone from SP or any of this years opponent able to give us a scouting report?
Falcons win easy.
Moore won’t end back to back seasons to the ramblers. Wolves by a lot.

As for what matters most, where did you decide to eat?
Had to go to McDonald’s. Planned to take few hours off work to give myself time but couldn’t make it work! McRib is back baby.

I felt the same way when NV played Fountain Central...so used to seeing bleachers full and the only had maybe 30-40 people in their stands not counting the band!! I'm sure they made most money from the visiting teams fans....so sad to see this
Cloverdale didn’t have enough people in the stands to equate to 1 fan per player. It was a very strange atmosphere.

60 points = JUGGERNAUT
The offense put on a show. Bullinger, Johnson, and White were dominant. Our defense stinks, I thought some personnel changes would help but Johnson only played offense?
Cloverdale had had a few big strong kids and a couple athletes. Felt bad that they only had 15 people in the bleachers, after the long year those kids have had they deserve better!

46 14 Parke heritage at the half

It should be mentioned that NV played PH without their best CB in L. Cook who was out with injury. They were also missing G. Dice one of their better OL/DL. Having their services next time can’t hurt. What makes NV hard to beat is they adapt on a weekly basis based on what the other team is or is not doing. They do it better than anyone else in the WRC, even in years when they haven’t had the best talent. NV QB Ellis has proven himself of being more than a capable passer. If you slow down the run, they can still beat you that way. Throwing the ball allowed them to stay in the game against Linton. Hopefully all teams can stay healthy, and may the best team win.
I have been impressed with Ellis’ arm but if you stop their run it kills them offensively, same if you stop PH passing attack.
Will they put cook on johnson? will they still have a safety over the top of him? Is he capable of shutting him down man to man? I’m not sure who he is, is why I ask. Still have a huge target in petrillo and a huge target in crull as well.
Don’t like to hear they have another good lineman coming lol
how is north centrals coach from last year doing in the big city?

I watched both games. Riverton Parke did most of their damage in the first half. (Against 7 and 8 man fronts.) Parke Heritage had their 1’s in the game on offense and defense until the start of the 4th. No way the Panthers rushed for most of their yards with a running clock in one quarter.
And call it what you want, ‘big plays’ or not, if you give up 400 yds rushing to anyone, your defense is Swiss Cheese.
The QB for Parke Heritage is as good as advertised, but he’s gonna need some help from his defense if they want to win a title.
Just my two cents worth...
I can’t find the stats online. The panthers were scoreless until the JV came in. The wolves could have won 80-0. My point is, if they kept Riverton out of the red zone the entire game then that’s a good defensive performance. Pretty sure Riverton marched 55 yards on final drive to score on PH JV?And yes your defense will have 7-8 man front when the opposing offense runs double TE/double WING with no wideouts lol
There seems to be some personnel changes and some kid are back in the last recent weeks. All that matters is who is playing their best football this time of year.
If someone doesn’t stop the PH offense of white and company that averages 482 yards a game they will have a hard time winning a title too.
If PH gets to the final vs NV, they have to stop the rushing attack of the falcons or it’s gonna be another shootout.
Just my two cents..

Rockville around 2008 or 9, believe he was a junior the year they went to state finals?

Is he better than Matt King?
I just asked someone this question last week. Completely different players from the few times I watched king play. King was dual threat QB, but had a good arm.
I’d say Logan is more of a pocket QB with a better arm but Matt was a “playmaker”. Somewhat like brown from Covington and
Botg great players. Last I heard matt is OC and a D2 school in Ohio.

Because even Riverton Parke ran for 200 yds on the Wolfs. Championship teams play Defense as well as Offense. Parke Heritage’s lack of a run stopping Defense will be their downfall.
(Another case in point... In their lone loss to North Vermillion, The Wolfs D gave up 400 yds rushing.)
As I’m sure you’re aware of, the teams you play deeper in the tournament usually get better. Hard to score points when your D1 QB is standing on the sidelines watching the Defense get run over.
Of course, that’s why we play the games...
Good luck to all!
Riverton ran against Parke Heritage JV
NV did run for 400+ yards against Parke Heritage but they break a lot of big plays. I believe they averaged close to 10 yards per carry. NV isn’t a ground and pound team that runs the clock down. No disrespect meant by that. Wish we had that speed.
But with saying that it give White plenty of time to be on the field. I don’t know the stat but would like to see what time of possession was for each team. I would guess it was close to the same.
Both teams can score fast at anytime. Should be another great game. If both teams make it that far. Good luck to everyone Friday night and stay safe.

Via Facebook and max preps
Noble Johnson leads the entire state in all classes as a sophomore in receiving yards and he doesn’t get to play much in any second half besides NV, ATTICA, and SV. Will be interesting to see how him and his brother can connect the next 2 seasons
Logan White is second in passing yards in all classes as he is following West Lafayette's QB. White has played 8 games to WL QB has played 9.
Kirkpatrick, Ellis, Reynolds are putting up some impressive numbers as well.
If PH or NV can pull off an upset vs Lutheran in the regional(I expect one or 2 of those teams to win it) I pick one of those 2 teams to win the state title. Once again WRC will be on top!
What would happen to the falcons If they make a long run? I’m not sure how the points system works.

I am assuming there will be no extra bleachers brought in to the game Friday night?
i know Rockville brought some in years ago when Linton came to town. And I’ve been to a few other games over the years when this happened.
So let me ask this. Has anyone been to a game where the visiting teams fans took a seat or section on the home teams side?
