  1. Never even considered picking Silver Creek. The teams Floyd Central beat the first two weeks would beat Silver Creek with ease.
  2. Week 4 Schedule BNL (2-1, 1-0 HHC) at New Albany (1-2, 0-0 HHC) 5A #5/#6 Floyd Central (3-0, 0-0 HHC) at Seymour (0-3, 0-2 HHC) Jennings County (2-1) at Columbus East (1-2) Kokomo (0-3) at Jeffersonville (1-2)
  3. If you’ve seen my score thus far, you know I’m no threat to you this year 😂
  4. Yeah my plan (honest to God) was to pick those same four teams. I feel like everyone would’ve because they were the easiest picks of the season. However, I’m willing to disqualify myself from the competition since I didn’t get my picks in on time. I’ll leave that up to everyone else. Rules are rules. I’m good with following them. I’ll leave it up for everyone to decide though.
  5. Doesn’t that cause security concerns? Maybe not with this site specifically but does it open it up for concerns elsewhere?
  6. I need to know how everyone was able to post on here while the GID was having certificate issues or whatever that thing is that happens every year. When that happens, I can’t get onto the site at all. What am I doing wrong?
  7. Week 3 Schedule BNL (1-1, 0-0 HHC) at Jeffersonville (1-1, 1-0 HHC) Seymour (0-2, 0-1 HHC) at Columbus East (0-2, 0-0 HHC) 5A #5/#6 Floyd Central (2-0) at Silver Creek (1-1) New Albany (1-1) at 2A #1/#2 Brownstown Central (2-0)
  8. East has a couple of big issues right now. 1. Turnovers. If we’re not leading the state in turnovers right now then we have to be close. We’ve committed 12 turnovers total (6 against Mooresville and 6 against Columbus North). We’ll see how that goes against HHC teams not named Floyd Central, but it’s something that has to be corrected in a hurry. Too many stupid mistakes. 2. Second half offense. Against Mooresville, we trailed 24-21 at the half. We lost 34-21. Against Columbus North, we were tied 14-14 at the half. We lost 42-14. So that’s 35 total first half points for an average of 17.5 first half points per game. In the second half, we’ve scored 0 total points. Not good. We’ve got to get our crap together.
  9. Completely agree with your comment about Floyd Central. I don’t think anyone touches them. As far as your rankings are concerned, I agree with 2 and 3. Not saying you’re wrong with the rest but I think 4 through 6 will be close. Or maybe Providence is going to have a really bad year and New Albany’s win against them wasn’t as impressive as we initially thought.
  10. @hhpatriot04 This should say royal blue, not total blue
  11. Jennings County now has that same stripe down the middle of their helmets like BNL has. They have total blue instead of navy blue though. The number is on one side of the helmet outlined thinly by red. Other side of the helmet has the interlocking JC logo. Facemask is red except for one random player that has blue.
  12. New helmets for Madison this year. No center stripe.
  13. HHC Pick ‘Em Standings (after week 2) @LC_Bears_04 8/11 @boilerfan87 7/11 @gonzoron 7/11 @SPARKS 7/11 @Goose10 6/11 @ptr 6/11 @Bluejacket1 5/11 @Fkfootball 5/11 @Frozen Tundra 4/11 @Impartial_Observer 4/11 @mamasa 3/11 @Uncle Bubba 3/6
  14. Yeah which is crazy because Snider has a historically strong program and they have a really good coach with a track record of success there.
  15. Snider had a historically bad year last year and they should be better this year but may not be back to what they usually are. Word is they’re being negatively impacted by the open transfer rule. Northrop benefitted from it last year and North Side seems to have won the sweepstakes this year. Unfortunately for the Legends, it may not translate to success because they don’t usually have a competent coaching staff nor disciplined players.
  16. They’re going to have to go through a New Palestine, Cathedral, or East Central to do so. Those three teams will bounce around between 4A, 5A, and 6A but I can’t see all of them out of 5A at the same time.
  17. Indianapolis Lutheran beats New Albany 42-0
  18. BNL blows a 34-14 second half lead as Bloomington North wins 41-40.
  19. Seymour gets it down to the Jeff 4 yard line with 0.6 seconds to go but can’t convert on the final play. Jeffersonville wins 20-14.
  20. North beats East 42-14. That’s six straight wins for them against East and 10 out of the last 11.
  21. 32 yard TD for North and they lead 28-14 with 10:21 left
  22. 33 yard TD for North and they lead East 21-14 with 8:44 left in the third
  23. Floyd Central leads Whiteland 28-0 at the half Are you at the game?
  24. 11 yard TD by East. 14-14 with 16 seconds left in the half.
