  1. Is there no-one else from Sectional 23 on the GID? HELLO?
  2. Uhhhhh you ok TBE69? Not sure what to think of that last post. Could you either finish story or clarify?
  3. Honestly, don't know much about M-villes team this year. EC has dominated the past two meetings, but both have been home games for EC. M-ville had a tougher regular season schedule, according to Sagarin, so they may be well conditioned to match up with a team like EC. EC will have all focus on the G-Bears this week.
  4. That time (best time) of the year again. Mustangs at Panthers: JC by 24 Woodmen at Sparty: G-wood by 28 Artesians at Dragons: M-ville by 21 EC looking for their 22nd Sectional Title....Last time EC and Shelbyville met was 2016, EC has dominated the series 10 to 1 with a combined score of 405 to 183, unless something miraculous happens, EC gets their 11th against the G-Bears.
  5. EC hasn't had any real competition since Sept 15 and/or Sept 1. EC is loaded with talent, well rested and focused, and though this game has no outcome on the season, lets hope there are no signs of rust and they lose some confidence going into the tourney. Roncalli is a great and proud program...We expect they will be well prepared and most likely play there best game all year. Good luck and good health to both teams.
  6. Great point, BR. Don't ever see it happening, so for know....we measure with the stick we have.
  7. Cuz....IMO, the sagarin ratings may not be the best way to determine how bad or good a conference is, cuz Sagarin is based off a hypothetical and mathematical formulas....i think the true measure is how deep in the tourney does the conf represent in each class. Last year EIAC did well with two in state games. This year we won't know till we know in Nov. Almost every (not all) conference had an equal number of good team and bad teams....I do agree the EIAC's bad is smelly bad, but the EIAC good is very good. I believe both Casketville or Stinkburg could go deep but they'd have to get past Heritage Hills and Gibson Southern just to meet up with Chatard in the big show. 3A is brutally balanced unlike 4A where the south continues to dominate. And of course I believe the BAD BOYZ will win it all again this year. But......nothing is a sure thing. Here's hoping that the future brings Hondaburg, Spartucky, Roosterville, and Stewyville competitive success to those programs.
  8. Last week of regular season to tune up for the big show. hope all eiac teams get/stay healthy going into r1 of sectionals. DAWGZ vs Spartucky: this week and next will be workin on g-plan for L-burg or C-ville Hornets vs Rooster-Cats: might be a good one, JoJos back on the home turf...looking for w# 4 Stewy-Cats vs Pirates: man ol man, looks like another short game River-Rats vs River-Cats, Boom vs K, KFI vs STC: The River-Bowl 2023, connies may have to put up an outside tent to expand the venue.....winner TBA BAD BOYZ vs Roncalli: them rebels (never callin them royals) are down this year, the BAD BOYZ are looking for some work to tune up....not gonna happen....running clock in Q3
  9. Live large C3... Tell me if you find stink under any table or skirts at connies tonight.
  10. C3, the trick was to wait for that blip to commit then press the up/down arrow and over arrow button as fast as possible till you hit pay-dirt! Definitely more exciting then the games tonight. not sure where stink went, maybe he's still in the flat-bill jail-house from last weeks party. you even gonna leave tuba's tonight to watch them fc roosters get pl---ucked?
  11. decided to attend an exiting game tonight....here are the venues:
  12. W8 might be the first week I don't watch or tune into any EIAC games. I might be better entertained scooping dog poop from my back-yard. Man oh man, it's as bad as it gets. STC Troypups Rats JV Boyz At least IHSAA Network is carrying a couple good ones.
  13. TT you be trippin! Think of all the gate and concessions money each EIAC team loses if the Red and Black nation doesn't come to town. I would personally welcome being an independent....It's not enough to play 3-out of conf competitive games (though Harrison hasn't been much lately), and only one in conf competitive game (EIAC team floats year to year). But I don't see it happening. So for know, we'll armor-all the bus tires each week so they shine when we roll into the big oil can.
  14. Welcome in, enjoy the fun, contribute as often as you can.....and don't take anything personal. We are EIAC equal-opportunity offenders and supporters!
  15. My old stomping grounds....81 Lancer grad. Our home field was the old Cincy State College stadium as we didn't have a home field, just a pasture to hold practices. We weren't very good back then, though we usually got thrashed by the other GCL teams we seemed to always beat Colerain. Still remember Coach Heidorn and Coach Nienabor like it was yesterday.
  16. I remember 2013 when Trojan nation had a full change-over...dark dark days back then, however in 5 short years JR brought home the crown. Not saying LR will do the same in Hondaburg....but its always darkest before the dawn.
  17. YAWN.... Couldn't agree more K9 W7 STC invades FBTL...Them flat-bills are flyin high and loaded with smack-talk, but the only smack will be the smack-down from the crew and the clown. Dawgs at Pirates... Man, this used to be the GoTW, now it might be the final nail for little ralphie as the gburg can't take much more. Can't call this the Battle of the Blue Bloods this year....no battle at all, sadly just another beat down. Somethings got to change... Concrete Roosters flock to the den to take on them Rats...I do believe the jo jo magic will make a game of this, but in the end them rats find a way to pull away with another feel good win going into fair-week. After the game they may even line-up and with fire extinguishers and music a blarin, to run back into the blowup helmet in celebration. Spartucky comes in kickin and screamin to face the BAD BOYZ. Look for sparty #4 to get another ejection...and by q2 JV finishing stretch and flex to take the field. By q3, frosh bring the hurt, by q4 maybe the cheer squad gets the call...might be the quickest game of the year...at least till next week.
  18. Just drove past connies and saw a new sign out front:
  19. Where's dawgieinthepound? is he still a mod...maybe he can shake the tree to get 3C free? Else hit up any: https://gridirondigest.net/staff/ tell him hit the goodwill next to his home away from home hobo hut and pick up a used fire tablet....I'm sure Hillcrest has free wifi and he prolly already has the password at connies.
  20. Why for is 3C in the GID clink? Did he go all John Dutton on someone and get caught?
  21. 💥💥💥 GAMEDAY💥💥💥 Time for another bucket of popcorn. Heard STFD was hosin of the turf turds in the pit early this mornin before..... hittin up connies to hose out this weeks stank.... Also hearing them Troypups and the gray-Z went deep in that trojan playbook.....might we see some wild-dog O tonight as the dawgZ do their best to control that clock. Them tiggers been workin on their own special K-plan, might we see a james brown turn around or two? So much fun is in store. But when the final seconds tick-off the Meador Field play-clock....that wild-dog proves one more blocker and a power O is too much for the boys in stripes. Troypups win this chapter by +12 Hopefully chapter two gets written come end of Oct.
  22. K9 it did feel at times a much closer game, but I believe its because them dogs were able to do what know one else has been able to do.... which was they kept JR from putting 200+ and 5TDs by Q3. They truly kept him in check until mid Q3. But with that RB and CB macerated the dawg D. Too much fire power. And the Trojan D had WJ, GP, CK, and AK locked down. All in the past though...my friend. Could this be the statement week? I'm a watchin both replays, but like TM said them tiggers are a different team than week 1. perc, perc, percolate...I'm still leaning toward that big physical style of play.
  23. Got me a big ole bucket of popcorn and smile on my face for this week, I'm gonna sit back and watch the EIAC GID light up with pupville vs stinkburg smackdown! Lets get some business out the way first... Plugs at Spartucky...though #4 is out (don't throw the ball away from the zebra), based on the footage, I think they may be a better team. Spartucky by 6 Bolts at Stewycats...stewy looked like world-beaters against spartucky, bolts are tough but lost last years lightning. Stewy by 12 Pirates (not gonna kick-em while they're down) at Roosterville... Yes K9 they are down to 24-ish players based on what i counted watching the online replay. Roosternation by 50+ Rats at BAD BOYZ...EC has sights set on bigger and better things. Don't believe they plan to run it up, it's more likely the JV and frosh get more game-clock then #1s. But...if them rats start to _ _ _k around...they'll find out why its best to be happy with a 40-pt loss. NOW...THE...BIG...ONE... Troypups at Stinkburg... After watching them pups last week there's no doubt they got the tools and the know-how (compliments of the gray). And those cats, well they got their machine firing on all cylinders. It warms an old EC faithful's heart that at this very minute former EC legends are strategizing against each other. My guts says Troypups go in and maul the tiggers, but...not sure you can maul what you can't catch. i'm gonna let this one percolate for a few days. I wonder if they hired the crew to keep the geese in check?
