  1. Good policy.
  2. Yeah, Buening is a good coach and great person. Glad he is having success at Southridge. Hopefully they advance to regionals and he plays another EIAC team in our neck of the woods.
  3. C3, you keep ropin and ridin that smack...cuz I'm a leaning toward your TroydawgZ for now. But I think the big U and the ole gray need to go back and knock off the dust to pull a play our two from the H playbook......you know....a spinner or two? Maybe a JB turnaround dbl option pitch? Just to make them river-cats think twice about those dbl A-gap blitz packages. I'm sure what was working for big K last month will be in the plan on friday.....get the ball outside of the hash quickly to make them big-pups upfront chase and get worn out by q4. So......I'll perk and perk and perk for now, but just in case...save me a seat on the end by the Tuba-Fridge...I got the first round if I fill it.
  4. Would like to see that as well....it's been a while since we've seen the Panthers. I remember pre-season scrimmages back in 2010-2012 when S Beuning was JCs coach. He of course left EC to take the HC job at JC. I also remember the long bus ride to North Vernon.
  5. Welp...since no-one is talking.... The bAd boYz from the EiaC are headed west and looking to bury the water-boys on friday night. There isn't enough "high quality H2O" and the Fonz isn't gonna draw up enough special plays to change the outcome. Mama said.....bAd boYz by 28.
  6. PS: W-2 The Creek @ Roosterville: The Braves paddle their canoes into JoJo-land on Friday, the Hilltop, Midtown, and Dairy Cottage will have hungry and thirsty Trafalgarites waiting inline for beverages and the best fried chicken north of Mound Haven. Them Braves are putting up a lot of points this season, but so was KFI. I think JoJo found a little something to work with and the new turf see's its first sectional win. Gillman over Gillin by 6. Stinkcats @ Dawzzzzz: Super excited about this one. Stink, K, Mnfrd, and the crew with bighouse are a different team from a month ago. But so are the Dawgz. The Grays plays don't seem to be the lead, but his influence definitely brings the bite to the dogs bark. I'm gonna let this one perk for a while. man this one will be fun to watch.
  7. Wha-What? Roosters go all cock-a-doodle-do on KFI? Congrats JoJo-cats!
  8. East Central 55 Shelbyville 7 Half
  9. Good luck and good health to all the teams tonight. Hoping to see that rematch in Casketville next week!
  10. Just at a glance and by the numbers....they look to have been a better team last season. Good luck to the Pioneers tonight against IGW.
  11. BTW... Stinkburg vs C-Dogs: STC and the crew invade 5-Arch brewing and bust up the place with a road win by 20 Dawgz vs FBTLs: Running clock by Q3....DAWGZ by +40 Roosterville vs KFI: Them roosters will pull out all the stops, but Boom and the MG invaders weather the feathers for a round 1 win, KFI by +25 Hondaburg vs T-Braves: Man o Man, Ralphie and the gang got deal with three hours on a bus to end this nightmare, Trafalgar Braves by +40
  12. I think STC needs to re-calibrate the crew from stinkburg
  13. 1. Beech Grove @ Muncie Central 2. Culver Academy @ Lowell 3. Hobart @ New Prairie 4. Pendleton Heights @ Greenfield-Central 5. Danville @ Tri-West 6. Lawrenceburg @ Centerville 7. Scottsburg @ North Harrison 8. Twin Lakes @ Boone Grove 9. Western Boone @ North Montgomery 10. Andrean @ LaVille 11. Bluffton @ Alexandria 12. Eastbrook @ Frankton 13. Evansville Mater Dei @ Tell City 14. Greencastle @ North Putnam 15. Sullivan @ Southmont 16. Clinton Prairie @ Covington 17. North Miami @ Southern Wells 18. Pioneer @ North Judson
  14. K9....I think you just released the kraken!
  15. Well that's disappointing....
  16. Is there no-one else from Sectional 23 on the GID? HELLO?
  17. Uhhhhh you ok TBE69? Not sure what to think of that last post. Could you either finish story or clarify?
  18. Honestly, don't know much about M-villes team this year. EC has dominated the past two meetings, but both have been home games for EC. M-ville had a tougher regular season schedule, according to Sagarin, so they may be well conditioned to match up with a team like EC. EC will have all focus on the G-Bears this week.
  19. That time (best time) of the year again. Mustangs at Panthers: JC by 24 Woodmen at Sparty: G-wood by 28 Artesians at Dragons: M-ville by 21 EC looking for their 22nd Sectional Title....Last time EC and Shelbyville met was 2016, EC has dominated the series 10 to 1 with a combined score of 405 to 183, unless something miraculous happens, EC gets their 11th against the G-Bears.
  20. EC hasn't had any real competition since Sept 15 and/or Sept 1. EC is loaded with talent, well rested and focused, and though this game has no outcome on the season, lets hope there are no signs of rust and they lose some confidence going into the tourney. Roncalli is a great and proud program...We expect they will be well prepared and most likely play there best game all year. Good luck and good health to both teams.
  21. Great point, BR. Don't ever see it happening, so for know....we measure with the stick we have.
  22. Cuz....IMO, the sagarin ratings may not be the best way to determine how bad or good a conference is, cuz Sagarin is based off a hypothetical and mathematical formulas....i think the true measure is how deep in the tourney does the conf represent in each class. Last year EIAC did well with two in state games. This year we won't know till we know in Nov. Almost every (not all) conference had an equal number of good team and bad teams....I do agree the EIAC's bad is smelly bad, but the EIAC good is very good. I believe both Casketville or Stinkburg could go deep but they'd have to get past Heritage Hills and Gibson Southern just to meet up with Chatard in the big show. 3A is brutally balanced unlike 4A where the south continues to dominate. And of course I believe the BAD BOYZ will win it all again this year. But......nothing is a sure thing. Here's hoping that the future brings Hondaburg, Spartucky, Roosterville, and Stewyville competitive success to those programs.
  23. Last week of regular season to tune up for the big show. hope all eiac teams get/stay healthy going into r1 of sectionals. DAWGZ vs Spartucky: this week and next will be workin on g-plan for L-burg or C-ville Hornets vs Rooster-Cats: might be a good one, JoJos back on the home turf...looking for w# 4 Stewy-Cats vs Pirates: man ol man, looks like another short game River-Rats vs River-Cats, Boom vs K, KFI vs STC: The River-Bowl 2023, connies may have to put up an outside tent to expand the venue.....winner TBA BAD BOYZ vs Roncalli: them rebels (never callin them royals) are down this year, the BAD BOYZ are looking for some work to tune up....not gonna happen....running clock in Q3
