  1. Congrats to the Tigers on a good season and their 2023 sectional title. bAd bOyZ back home next week looking for another semi against a very good Dragon squad. One more and it's back to the oil can.
  2. Great season, Batesville. Congrats to the Pats and good luck in Semi.
  3. Well hello Lysander, my old friend.... great to hear from you! That's some good stuff....Metamora elementary....😄 Hope all is well and you're enjoying your Trojans season as much as I'm enjoying mine. You couldn't be more spot on with your earlier post about SEI....but you will not hear anyone from the EIAC complain, we're happy to stay under the radar. EC will be rebuilding next season, so assuming they move to 5A.....they will likely take some lumps in the post season.
  4. Can watch online also: https://www.ihsaatv.org/?B=746145 Scratch and dent or returned?
  5. DawgZ over Pats by 6 or more. DawgZ played some very physical teams this year....not saying the Pats haven't, but B-DawgZ played a tougher schedule. Sag avg opponent ratings has B-DawgZ 53.75 vs Pats 50.4.
  6. Week 3 Games: 1. Warsaw @ Penn 2. Fishers @ Hamilton Southeastern 3. Westfield @ Noblesville 4. Cathedral @ Lawrence North 5. Mishawaka @ Concord 6. Harrison @ Decatur Central 7. 7. I've watched a couple of Greenwoody games from IHSAA replay....they have a good passing attack that will certainly challenge the Trojans "D", and I'm sure they reviewed what Mville did successfully so EC should expect the same. I believe the game will be close in the first half with both teams trading big play house calls, but the bAd bOyZ do a great job of h-time adjustments and should pull away in the 2nd half. Woody don't have an axe big enough to cut down the ReDwood & BlacK attack.
  8. Well STC let me be the first to say Congrats! Did you happen to see one of connies finest following close behind?
  9. Gotta get past Woody, then evansville (panther or tigers), then dragons first.
  10. So what's the 411 on The Creek? DawgZ longest road trip of the year....
  11. I would say yes....but I'm a EC supporter so.... The question should be asked to those not bias.
  12. TL2 the kneel down was why K and the staff went berserk at the end of the game....They believed they should have gotten one more play. As far as where the ball was caught, lets wait to see if BR gets to view the tapes....I didn't use a 75" OLED 4K monitor rather my 27" simple pc monitor and slowed the video down to 1/4 speed and IMO he bobbled the ball at impact.
  13. looking forward to this weekends home game and a possible sectional 23 championship. EC matches up real well across the board with green-woody, and though they had some wins against some pretty good teams this year, them bAd bOyZ are focused, determined and should be able to repeat their dominant ways. EC wins by 35+ Hats off to the Artesians for a great gplan and great execution last friday....them trick plays and quick passes had our D on their heels in the 1st half. Kudos to coach Dugger and his staff....i watched his interview on MHS rewind earlier in the week and he was able to have his squad execute most of what he said they needed to do to keep the game close and have a chance. In the end they just didn't have enough in the well (sorry for the pun) to keep up.
  14. In real-time this play looks to be a catch and first down at the 15. But when you slow it down and look closely, the receiver lost control of the ball at impact and didn't re-gain control until the 16-17 yardline. The official's judgement was a catch on the 17.... see still frames below. I know this doesn't make my friends in Lburg happy, but it truly was the right call. Now the ending of this game....maybe a whole different story. Not sure what the HS rules are for the clock stoppage at change of possessions. QB knelt on 4th down with 1.7 on the clock, but officials called game over. Should the other team get one play with at 1-sec on the clock?
  15. No comment...on above. I watched the replay today and you have to admit...the dogs we're more physical and made plays when they needed them most. I know the Lburg crew doesn't want to hear that right now, but IMO that was the case.
  16. Guess EC has got big trouble now...😁
  17. Absolutely we are as fans can look and ask about those kind of things, my reply, point, and opinion was that the teams focus was/is on winning, not individual records or margin of victory. That said, JR did brake the record last night and the Artesians did keep it close the first half.
  18. Congratulations to the Tigers on another good season. Congratulations to the Bulldogs on a big win. Now, I seen some crazy things and puzzling calls (or lack there of) happen in HS football. But this is not the NCAA or NFL with re-play, and the refs do the best possible job they can....so I'll just leave it right there.
  19. T12, i'm sure JR, JM and the whole team only cares about getting a road win with everyone returning healthy. If that happens...the record falls next week at home.
  20. Well, here we go.... just under 4-hours till the big one in the south-east. STC and the crew are trollin the mean streets of casketville. The rivercats are feeling strong and talking smack...and they should cuz they are all in on the Gplan that K and the staff laid out. Big-house will keep the dawggies runnin sideline to sideline to wear them down. Will the K-plan put them in the championship game? K9 & C3 have big tab open at Tubas with an open invite to the crew after the game. Big U and the gray have TroyDawgz bursting with confidence after the W last month and a strong season to date, but they also have the Dawgz barkin mad about not getting the respect they deserve. Super J is an elite athlete, he'll look to make plays with his legs and his arm. Do the DawgZ maul the cats? As of now the weather looks like a no-factor so both teams play-books are a full go. I'ma headed out here shortly.... C3...I hope you saved me seat cuz i'm headed to Tubas. Tonights dinner....Tenderloin sammy, tots, a side of pepper cheese cubes, and several buffalo trace dbls served neat. I'm going with the DawgZ by 12+ Good luck and good health to both teams.
  21. I think you answered your own question...Taylor (OH) vs Indian Creek....Sag only factors IC. Though "respect" prolly isn't the best word to use when comparing the result of statistical calculations...it certainly is a good metaphor, in this case.
