LCC/Ritter

Why are LCC and Ritter not finishing their game today like many of the others?  Is it too far for Ritter to make the trip back up to Lafayette?

Maybe it's because Purdue is at home.  I guess they could have played at night.

My understanding is Ritter made it clear they would wait as long as they could but wouldn’t return. 
 

it was called around 10 PM. Based on what I saw. It was headed for a running clock.

Would agree.  LCC was two for two scoring on possessions.  I think Ritter had one first down and that was due to a PF facemask on the first play from scrimmage.  Would not be surprised if Ritter had negative offensive yardage as LCC was in their backfield on every play.  LCC had trouble connecting on down and outs and even a couple deeper patterns heading to the sidelines, but they just ate up yards all over the place with the jailbreak/tunnel screen.
