CG would have played Ben Davis last year, but the IMG opportunity came up.

Yes. Agree with this. I think this team will be much better in October than it is right now. Just hope they can weather the schedule.

I seem to remember using the term as "culture" at CG why they stopped playing them in sports...and we have seen over time, Carmel is playing CG in a number of sports...just not the "big ones" to include football, basketball and baseball.

Not sure if "culture" can be used with a straight-face....for the 2nd year in a row, (3rd overall) CG has earned one of the 20 high school sportsmanship awards from the IHSAA.  Congrats Trojans and all schools earning this outstanding recognition.
