TigerFan20 Posted October 7, 2024 Posted October 7, 2024 JH Opening Lines: Jasper at North (-3) Memorial (-18) at Lincoln Harrison at Mater Dei (-18) Reitz (-28) at Bosse Central at Castle (-32) Memorial can clinch a share of the SIAC with a win. Quote
tango Posted October 7, 2024 Posted October 7, 2024 Jasper @ North. North surprised me with the win at Lincoln, but I'll take the JCats 21-14. Memorial @ Lincoln. I'm interested to see how Memorial does on real grass. Tigers 34-13. Harrison @ Mater Dei. Harrison is improved, but I don't think they can hang with the Wildcats for 4 quarters. MD 28-13. Reitz @ Bosse. The Bulldogs are in the wrong place at the wrong time. After getting throttled at Enlow last week, Reitz will take out their frustrations on Bosse 49-0. Central @ Castle. I expected a let down from Castle, but not that much. Central is just not good. Knights 42-0. Quote
Football Fanatic Posted October 7, 2024 Posted October 7, 2024 Memorial at Vincennes - I am tempted to put this on upset alert. I mean, Memorial coming off an impressive win, long trip, playing on grass. VL did beat them last year and have an improved offense now. However, Memorial is simply too good and will not have much of a let down. I will take the Tigers by four scores. Harrison at Mater Dei - The only other potential close game here. Harrison has a dangerous offense with their starting QB playing. I don't think they will be able to stop MD much though. I will take the Wildcats by three scores. Reitz at Bosse - Bad time to be a Bulldog. Reitz is in uncharted losing territory right now and will be hungry to get a confidence boosting win here. I could also see Reitz scaling back some of their players and trying to get healthy going into the MD game and playoffs, so it may be closer than some think. I will still take the Panthers in a running clock though. Central at Castle - This one will be over early. Not much to say on this one. Castle needs a bounce back performance and Central is just not good. I will take the Knights in a running clock. GAME OF THE WEEK: Jasper at North - This one could go either way. Jasper coming off an impressive performance against Castle. I think North will have trouble scoring on Jasper. But I do think it could be low scoring both ways. I will take the Wildcats by one score. TigerFan20 Posted October 8, 2024 Author Posted October 8, 2024 MasseyRating: Jasper at North (-7), 69% chance of winning for the Huskies Memorial (-28) at Lincoln, 93% chance of winning for the Tigers Reitz (-35) at Bosse, 98% chance of winning for the Panthers Harrison at Mater Dei (-35), 98% chance of winning for the Wildcats Central at Castle (-41), 100% chance of winning for the Knights Quote

TigerFan20 Posted October 11, 2024 Author Posted October 11, 2024 Picks Memorial at Lincoln - An intriguing game between the Alices and the Tigers, since this game will be played on grass. The Alices have a new QB and a massive RB in the backfield. The Alices have been in their big games before phasing out late. Memorial is coming off a big win over Reitz last week forcing another running clock. Last 2 matchups have been competitive, but give me the Tigers by 3 scores in this one. Harrison at Mater Dei - Harrison finally got their first win of the season to give the team some juice. Mater Dei is coming off of a blowout win against Bosse. Give me the Wildcats by 4 scores. Reitz at Bosse - Reitz is coming off consecutive blowout losses to Memorial and Castle, but mathematically still in the SIAC race (need a lot of help). Bosse continues to struggle a bit. I’ll take the Panthers in a running clock. Central at Castle - Central is coming off a surprising blowout loss to Harrison and didn’t look the best. Castle is coming off a huge scare against Jasper only winning by 1 point. There will be a lot of running in this one, as the Knights will be running away with a running clock. Game of the week Jasper at North- Jasper is coming off a close upset against Castle after failing to convert a 2 point conversion to win the game. The JCats were running all over the field against Castle last week. North took a much needed win against Lincoln last week to inch closer to .500. As the Huskies looked well in their game and defended Lincoln’s offense nicely. Jasper is coming in as the presumed #1 rushing attack in the SIAC, while North is the #1 in rushing defense. This game should be a classic tonight, but give me the JCats by 3. O/U on total rushing tonight? Feels like there will be a lot of running in this one. Quote
