The latest blog from a retired high school football coach that has transitioned into blog writing. This blog is special for me because we discuss the fine line of effective time management for multi-sport coaches when trying to raise a young family. The idea came from a former player who now coaches back in the high school he graduated from. We must protect these young coaches in the greatest fraternity left standing in America. Great read. Story idea: your best (or worst) Saturday morning film exchange story. One of our rivals "mistakenly" recorded a game film over a very adult video and didn't fully dubb over a steamy scene.

Thanks coach..thats funny as heck....by the time I was head coach everything was on the internet....but as an assistant I often went with head coach for some exchanges and witnessed a coach demand a film we weren't require to give him. Opposing coach " I want the Marysville film", my coach, " I'm a not going to give you that film." This went on literally for 10 straight minutes... they were nose to nose with my coach being all of 5'7 and opposing coach being 6'1 and bulky.. I was young at the time and was thinking this shit is crazy...

It was a playoff game and they were our only loss that year leading up to the playoffs. We beat him in the playoffs and awkwardly got stuck in an elevator with him during a winter coaching clinic. He turned his back to us during the ride. LOL
