EIAC Week 7

Can tell by the fact no one has made a thread yet we are in for an average midseason EIAC week...

 

Predictions for the week:

 

Batesville at Greensburg: Yawn

Connersville at East Central: Snooze

Franklin County at South Dearborn: Who cares?

Lawrenceburg at Rushville: Boring

Well id say fc probably cares, as well as south dearborn. Small eiac title on the line. Good game for greensburg to get a little better with batesville being a little down this year. Another game for ec to figure out they should go to another conference or just play all ohio teams to prepare for tournament. Tigers at rushville is my who cares, snooze fest, yawn, and boring game of the week. Good luck to all.

Agreed. If the EIAC had a College Gameday show, this week they would go to the tennis sectional.

Just out of curiosity but are the eight teams in this conference solidly committed or have there been talks or rumors about potential defections? With realignment being a big thing in recent years, I wasn’t sure if the EIAC would be able to avoid it.

There is talk every year about East Central leaving the conference. Some real conversations, but most just rumor. There is a lot more that goes into that decision than most people realize. I can tell you that the majority of people within the school corporation do not want it to come to that. 

Boring weak in the EIAC. Only two games to really keep an eye on.

#1 KFI vs Joe Joe's This one will be a close battle for the little conference title. It will be a tight one, but boom will not be denied. We didn't help ourselves much but Joe Joe's didn't look bad against the Trojans. I've heard Joe Joe's is battling some injuries though. If boom sticks to the plan and lets little card eat I'll take KFI for the 🏆 26-24

#2 Pupz vs Pirates. Pupz have been very quiet this week. If the pupz still aren't healthy, Flatbill might get his first victory in tree town. They will score against the pupz defense! Will the pupz have qb1 back to keep them in the game? With qb1 the pupz edge out the win 28-21. Without qb1 pupz fall in a heartbreaker 21-7. Then what? 

Bad Boys thump Connertucky by as many as they want. 

STC does the same to steweytown.

Are Connersville and Rushville pretty solid? With New Castle leaving the Hoosier Heritage Conference, and rumors of Delta and Yorktown wanting out as well, I didn’t know if they would try to form a new conference with other similar-sized schools in east-central Indiana.

Casket Nation @ Flat Bill One Eyed Willy - The lil puppies are a tad beaten up after two weeks of beat downs but they still have enough to take down the Pirates of Hondaburg. Gray Dog & Ketchup will have that Ol' Style Rock'in Rod Trojan Waggle clicking. Mix in a 110 Buck or 116 P and got'ya! Biggest question of the night for the Pirate Fans is who will be the "Pirate Fan of the Night" that will raise the flag?? Here are some suggestions: Barnes Family (owners of Pizza King) or Fry Family (A&W) or WTRE with guest Jason Simpson & Josh Lee. Who knows....but take the Dogs and the points. Casket Nation 35 - 10

MethTucky vs BiG ReD & BlAcK - Running Clock...Lil Donnie sends the Spartans back down the hill early. Spartans are used to road games this year though, so the road trip will not faze them. Badd Boyz too much! Badd Boyz 56-0!

Game of the WEEK!!!!! Chicken & Jo Joe's vs Mardi Gras River Rat Bead Ville - The Jo's up the hill and down the hill and back up the hill to take on Big Bead and Lil Card. BAD NEWS ALERT...it is Farmer's Fair week. The cronies have been invading Conwell street for days! The smell of the best carnie food around puts the River Rats and Beads away. The Cats will claw their way to VICTORY.  No way the Mardi Gras invaders will pull this one together. Get the grease hot at the Cottage and pack the parking lot. Joes roll!
