Robert
I keep seeing these articles on Facebook from my middle of the road friends. My middle-conservative friends are busy showing me the three or four black people who make videos about Trump or talking about why everyone in the USA has the same chance to succeed. My I don't even know how to label them without sounding rude friends are just screaming that the government can't control them and they aren't wearing their mask and they are voting for Trump. My liberal friends are begging for Joe to pick a VP mate. My libertarian friends are wearing their masks and not saying much because Rand Paul isn't in the news. https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/2020/07/role-cognitive-dissonance-pandemic/614074/ https://www.insidernj.com/advice-to-nj-republicans-stop-lost-your-minds/ https://www.washingtonpost.com/outlook/the-psychological-phenomenon-that-blinds-trump-supporters-to-his-racism/2019/07/18/29789344-a8ac-11e9-ac16-90dd7e5716bc_story.html

Way too many unemployed folks with extra time on their heads who are suddenly equipped as doctors and social justice warriors.

The social justice warriors bother me just as much as those who don't think there is racism. I'll just stick to putting up silly pictures. The cognitive dissonance looks like it is real. I've never seen someone get by with so many lies. Fox News caught the president a couple of times this week. I haven't seen much backlash. Oh, well.
