Columbus East @ Floyd Central

Needless to say, the winner of this game will have the inside track to the HHC championship, although BNL will have a say in that as they host both of these teams at the backend of their schedule. Last season, FC doubled-up the score on the Olympians in Columbus. I don't see that changing, especially with the game at FC. 

BNL @ Jennings County

Jennings County has a couple of wins over so-so 2A teams. Their three losses were blowouts and they lost their last two games by a combined score of 103 to 7. I expect a running clock at some point in this game. 

Jeffersonville @ Connersville

The Spartans are 3-2 against a so-so schedule of primarily 2A and 3A teams. The last time the Red Devils played out of conference, they were annihilated at home by a previously winless Kokomo team. I learned my lesson about the Red Devils, and I see them losing on the road by a couple of TDs. 

Seymour @ Brownstown Central

This game could be over with by halftime with a possible running clock to start the second half. 

Silver Creek @ New Albany

After their season opening win over a 1-3 Providence team, the Bull Dogs have been blasted in four straight games with the closest of those games being a 40-24 loss to BNL. I don't see them having the defense, nor the offense, to come out on top in this game.
