Mid-State Week 4

Recommended Posts

Mooresville (1-2) @ Greenwood (3-0)- Greenwood turned some heads last week lighting up the scoreboard once again. The offense seems to be the real deal and the QB is putting teams on notice. I expect another high scoring performance in what should be Greenwood's toughest test to date. Greenwood 35-31

Martinsville (1-2) @ DC (2-1)- DC's sophomore D1 qb was hurt last week vs Whiteland. Unsure of his current status, but either way DC should be able to take this one. DC 31-13

Perry Merdian (1-2) @ Plainfield (3-0)- Plainfield should continue to roll this week with a big one in the waiting next week vs Whiteland. Although, Perry Merdian seems to have some fight in them this year and can upset a team who is not prepared.  Plainfield 28-17

Whiteland (2-1) @ Franklin (2-1)- Whiteland places itself in the driver's seat of the conference after beating DC handily last week. Whiteland 31-21

Mid-State Power Rankings after week 3

1. Whiteland

2. Plainfield

3. DC

4. Franklin

5. Greenwood

6. Mooresville

7. Perry Meridan

8. Martinsville

Plainfield plays Greenwood next week, not Whiteland.

Anyways,

Mooresville 42 - Greenwood 35

Denny will get his share on the ground and Greenwood will get their share in the air. This game is a toss up but based on recent history I can't pick the Woodmen over the Pioneers right now. This is the MSC's Game of the Week in my opinion.

Plainfield 29 - Perry Meridian 14

This Perry team seems different from years prior. Unfortunately for Perry, this Plainfield team also seems different from years prior.

Decatur Central 20 - Martinsville 10

I expect Decatur Central's offense to struggle without Polston. However, Martinsville is the worst team in the conference this year, and Decatur should still win.

Whiteland 24 - Franklin 13

I think Whiteland beats Franklin on Friday. It won't be the most climactic game but that is how Whiteland does things.

You are right. I am really struggling reading Maxpreps schedules when I'm in a rush lol
