AW0352
After watching the Eagles we all know the QB push for short yardage is nearly unstoppable. NFHS does not allow the ball carrier to be pushed correct? Can you pull them? What are the rules on this?
0 cloudofdust
My understanding is you can push the pile but not the ball carrier. So make sure he's up in it!

Translation: “It’s happening and it’s not being called. Call it!” Another reason is the difference in rules at the different levels. NFHS Rules simply provide “An offensive player shall not push, pull or lift the runner to assist his forward progress.” So, yes, you can push the pile. But you can’t push the runner.

In the past few years I have called this NUMEROUS times. Please understand that Saturday (Collegiate) and Sunday (Professional) Football is NOT what we adjudicate! Tuck in your shirts! (no under shirts exposed...FAT guys on the lines get an exception (😄) ... Cover the knees, NO tinted shields, Play calling sheets on the waists, Sleeves that have excessive "gripping adhesion", No electronic Boards to relay in plays , NO electronics to communicate with on field players....(Uniform Police). Get with the program officials. Just stop it BEFORE it happens! Because if they see this crew, we WILL end it! In PRE-GAME.....
