It was on this day 46 years ago December 9, 1977 that the 1977 AAA state champion Portage Indian football team, coaches, cheerleaders and Pom Pon girls traveled to WGN studios in Chicago to appear on The Ray Rayner Show.

That's awesome. Les Klein looks so young in that picture. I remember him as Portage's AD in the '90's when I was an Indian.
