Not on ours. Although Memorial's roster has a distinct Bosse flair in the TD column this week. Not the mention the southern accent in Northern Spencer county.

Is this finally the year Carroll gets past the Trojans? Decatur Central at Wayne - Hawks by many. It could be back-to-back shutouts for the Generals. East Noble at Snider - Panthers by 3. There’s no way Snider is losing the opening game in its new stadium after waiting forever to get it built. Concordia at Eastside - Cadets by 10 over Eastbrook. Fortunately, they don't actually play Eastside. Dwenger at St. Francis De Sales (Ohio) - Saints 7–0 in OT. The Saints will try to wear down every opponent this year and then win every game in overtime. North Side at New Haven - North Side by 14. The Legends bounce back with a win. Northrop at Warsaw - Bruins by 7. Northrop vows not to let the Tigers run all over them like they did against Snider last week. South Side at St. Joseph - Huskies by 10. Great start by the Archers last week, but St. Joe's could be a tough matchup. Noblesville at Homestead - Millers by 17. If Sparty is looking for an upset, the defense will have to step up this week.

I am hearing HH wouldn't have beaten Reitz in the scrimmage...anyone else get that kind of input? Better team won last season....we beat teams with "recruits" every year. I know from experience how much sagairn likes when you hang a zero on bad teams....also too bad it doesn't look at out of state games. Some of us work hard to find competition.

HH had the higher end of season Sagarin rating, plus we both know injuries played a huge factor for both teams... 4A ball is a different animal lol

North Judson @ LaVille- Young hosses up front clear enough room for their athletes to make plays. Jays 35-7 Boone Grove @ South Central- The young teams best chance at a win for the year. SCUM 27-20 Taylor @ North Miami- NM learning but Taylor doesn't look to have much. Warriors 21-0 West Central @ Culver- WC rebounds after the week 1 rivalry loss. 34-14 Triton @ Bremen- Bremen wins 28-7 Winamac @ Frontier- Winamac starts off 2-0 for the first time since 2021. Warriors 30-20 North White @ Caston.- Comets are burnin hot. Looking for 2-0 for the first time since 2009. Comets 56-0 Pioneer @ Knox- Pioneer gets knox after a rough week of film and practice for the Redskins. Knox is big and can cause some problems but not many athletes. Panthers 21-12

HH getting a lot of mileage out of running trick plays against little old South Spencer....shame shame. @tango has it pretty close I'd imagine. GS had 507 yards of offense Friday.

I'm sure Gibson will rise. I guess I'm kind of old school and put Ws ahead of Ls, especially early in the season. Some common opponents will help sort out HH-NP-GS. If HH's offense plays like they did against SS, they might lose to Apollo. ETA: Why do you hate Vincennes?

IMO, if GS had beat Floyd, they would be #1. Losing by 1 score to a 5A school in Wk1 after replacing what they had to replace is pretty solid to me. I might have Castle at #2 if they hadn't been gifted the W by North. I personally don't put much stock at all into last year.

Jeff Sagarin has 1A ratings I think it's 99% John Harrell (or his son now) who is providing the data and just pressing a button. I'm not sure Mr. Sagarin does much anymore besides hitting the coffee shops in Bloomington. I'm not even sure he teaches/lectures anymore at IU. ETA: Both are saints and should be treated as such. I hope the IHSAA writes both a fat check every year.

Maybe all teams should hire me to design their helmets, please? Really though, can you show me the helmet they wore on Friday because I'll need to update it.

Gibson Southern probably could be higher, but I think No. 2 is a bit high. Where would they be had they won? Not sure how you can have HH and Reitz tied, given the recent matchup. Maybe, I factor in previous seasons a bit too much early in the season, or I just hate them Titans?
