Interesting rivalry. According to Sagarin Tipton is favored by 11 plus they are highly ranked and beat a very solid Central Catholic team. I say Tipton 35   Hamilton Heights 7. Then would Tipton represent that side of the conference for the Hoosier Conference Championship in Week 9? I could see them and West Lafayette being a shootout!

I wonder what Sagarin had for the Heights- Western game from two weeks ago?

What about if these same kids were to kneel during the Anthem?  Would you feel the same?

As a Social Studies Teacher, Coach and a Vet I say if student athletes want to kneel they have the right. If the current issues in this country lead athletes to  kneel then kneel it is their right, but in all honesty I agree with Coach Nowlin we should get back to the fun of this forum and talk football.

Exactly, coach. I bet they do it in Texas and Florida, for sure.

In Indiana, there very few spring sports that play on Friday night.  Baseball doesnt

Start in March and end in June.

That gives us time to get a vaccine or a treatment for the virus.....Its radical but it makes a lot of sense...

Do you let the boys play both sports? and if you do how do you monitor practices with most baseball taking place during key days of game planning practice for football?

    1. Lake County has 2nd most cases in the state, Not sure what else I can do about that.

    2. I was teaching this year and returned to Nursing full time in March...Please see 1.

    3. I am honored to be stereotyped as a typical football coach, being a nurse and former college placekicker and all.

    4. How do you know its not like that in Fort Wayne? MY entire reason for posting is that people assume hospitals are overwhelmed and sinking. Its absolutely Not true in Lake County Indiana. Can this change, of course and if it does I wont be so high on going back to school and playing football. But if it doesn't change, then what are we doing?

I feel like some lose sight of this.

Unlikely anytime within about the next calendar year at this point.  If we, as a collective society, wait for a vaccine to begin moving away from this thing we have bigger problems than football, or any sport, at any level.

As long as we take proper precautions. I am not going to say things are awful... or overblown for that matter but it still feels like we are not being given all the facts about what's going on with Covid.

If it wasn't for "woke culture" we would all be speaking German and praising der Fuhrer

If it wasn't for "woke culture" The U.S.S.R. would still exist.

If it wasn't for "woke culture" there would be no Jews.

This would be your perfect world??

Sorry I can't help myself at this... So woke culture worked twice in Russia. Once to tear down a monarchy and then again to tear down communism?

Is this when Harding had Hardy (I believe, IU/Bills)?

I will look to see.  If I come across it, I will post it.

High profile is subjective.  You enjoyed playing in the game and it stuck out to you.  Thank you for the recommendation.

No it was Dre Muhammad that played quarterback on that team. He did go to IU as well.
