Mannering will tell you the best team in that time period was the '03 team. Seagraves was a Freshman taking reps at FB. That team was bounced by a Harding team that was out of the world talented. And I agree with your statement about the '19 team. They had a lot a talent, but I think the depth of some of those early 2000 teams just overwhelms that team.

I completely agree. It was just an assumption and I know that when you make assumptions it makes an ass out of you and umption. Again I was making an observation as to what other school tend to do when they really want someone as a coach. Honestly whoever gets this job is going to be fighting the biggest uphill battle ever. Sheridan is a community that is very proud of its football tradition and its all thanks to Coach Wright.

If there is someone that they want bad enough wouldn't you think the school would find a way to get that coach in the building?

Ah you are talking about my schools here. I would tend to agree with CoachPatch on the comment. The kids are great normally but they do smell blood with subs.

I coached with guys like the one in the post. The biggest headache in the world to be working on development and all you are hearing is development doesn't win at that age.

The more I read the JH post it makes my brain hurt. Great high school programs have a great youth program where the coaches buy into vison and philosophy like CG. It sounds like the Noblesville youth coaches know what's best and would rather do that then help build the success.

It reads like a dad who is the coach and wants his kid to get the majority of the touches on offense. I feel like most youth teams that aren't given direction from the head coach tend to run the T or some variation of single wing or wing t so how is there constraint?

Does Taylor have a shot against Pioneer? Also Cloverdale over Sheridan to would be an upset.

Johnson is still running it well at Logansport. Pioneer is still a well oiled machine with the Wing T Lewis Cass is also a school that has seen a lot of success with this offense... Cass County is Wing T country.

Should be an interesting night for football, if the weather is decent then Mac and NW should be ok. If it is raining then Mac and NW might struggle a little bit on offense. Peru and Cass might come down to who is more physical.
