Now I get it. Thank you for the enlightening information. You create "secret plays/schemes" for the big name opponents on your schedule, run JV/Junior High stuff against the weaklings on your schedule. Kind of like Andre pulling out all the tricks when wrestling the likes of Hulk Hogan, but basically resting on his laurels while wrestling run-of-the-mill scrubs.

So "secret" means only practice these special plays/schemes, don't use them in a game until it is against a certain opponent at a certain time. Got it. Sounds legit, unless of course a spy from the other program shows up and watches your practices.................

Interesting. Can you please expound on these 'secret preparations'? Has Mr. Ralph and his staff purloined tapes (hopefully from an end zone camera) of 2019 Cathedral contests and have been obsessively watching them over and over and over again on their cell phones while riding to/from New Palestine contests? And I disparage most anyone who chooses to live in Marion or its surrounding doughnut, urban sprawl counties.

Gotcha. It isn't based on any of the popular comic book characters from DC or Marvel like Batman, Superman, Spiderman, Iron Man, etc.. But it is based on a comic maxiseries (later put into a graphic novel format) published by DC back in 1986-87. Here is a snippet from the Wikipedia entry: Now the HBO series is set in the present day, some 30 years after the events depicted in the graphic novel. While the HBO series follows a different story line and the major protagonists are new characters protagonists from the graphic novel do make appearances in the HBO series. So far that has been the characters of Adrian Veidt and Laurie Juspeczyk/Blake. There is also a group of antagonists who wear a mask based on the one worn by Rorschach, another major character from the graphic novel.

I am not against the game of football. Nice try. Just trying to understand why individuals choose to live in or around urban sprawl. My spouse and I lived in such sprawl for over eight years during the 1990's. We both hated it, couldn't wait to get back to a traditional small town or rural area.

It's still sprawl, and the main reason for the growth is effectively an accident of geography. What if the founders of New Palestine had initially platted the town 25 miles further east? What if the planners of the U.S. Highway system had routed U.S. 52 ten miles south of the town?
