  1. A decent plan. Both of those are excellent watches as well. Also I would recommend The Righteous Gemstones if you haven't watched it already.
  2. Gotcha. It isn't based on any of the popular comic book characters from DC or Marvel like Batman, Superman, Spiderman, Iron Man, etc.. But it is based on a comic maxiseries (later put into a graphic novel format) published by DC back in 1986-87. Here is a snippet from the Wikipedia entry: Now the HBO series is set in the present day, some 30 years after the events depicted in the graphic novel. While the HBO series follows a different story line and the major protagonists are new characters protagonists from the graphic novel do make appearances in the HBO series. So far that has been the characters of Adrian Veidt and Laurie Juspeczyk/Blake. There is also a group of antagonists who wear a mask based on the one worn by Rorschach, another major character from the graphic novel.
  3. If you don't care to read my comments then either put me on ignore or report me to the GID administration. Your call. I just posted my opinion regarding the score of tomorrow's highly awaited regional contest, and a short uniform critique. What exactly are my intentions?
  4. Cathedral 45, New Palestine 32. BTW, whoever designed and/or approved New Palestine's recent extravagant uniforms need to be fired. Having the words 'Dragons' on both the jersey and the pants is redundant and dumb. Cathedral's now, they look pretty classy:
  5. I am not against the game of football. Nice try. Just trying to understand why individuals choose to live in or around urban sprawl. My spouse and I lived in such sprawl for over eight years during the 1990's. We both hated it, couldn't wait to get back to a traditional small town or rural area.
  6. More than 100 Indiana school districts are closing for Red for Ed Action Day: https://www.jconline.com/story/news/education/2019/11/14/why-indiana-schools-have-closed-red-ed-action-day-statehouse/4179467002/ Half a million children not receiving their Indiana constitutional right to an education, all due to a political stunt orchestrated by a public section union.
  7. By Dante's reaction to Bobref's logical and concise explanation I take he believe he himself has the skills to be the CEO of Wal-Mart, Disney, or American Airlines. Or at the very least the compensation for CEO's at such corporation should be more on par with those of teachers, soldiers, or LEO's. A gigantic race to the bottom.
  8. It's still sprawl, and the main reason for the growth is effectively an accident of geography. What if the founders of New Palestine had initially platted the town 25 miles further east? What if the planners of the U.S. Highway system had routed U.S. 52 ten miles south of the town?
  9. At least you didn't call it gruel. A couple of my children however.............. Possibly a few reasons: Cheaper Quicker Easier (Wouldn't want the kitchen staff to you know, actually have to prepare something from scratch for hundreds of children a day, would we?)
  10. You really sure about that? It sounds like your son is some kind of world class athlete. Is he? Agenda? Exactly what agenda are you talking about TD?
  11. https://www.nationalreview.com/2019/11/shaking-down-rich-bad-for-democracy-elizabeth-warren/ This pipe dream of the "rich" paying for all the democratic socialist's Utopian programs needs to stop.
  12. I don't believe such a menu would disappoint the Community Schools of Frankfort's demographics, do you? I personally don't care for gruel....................
  13. But yet his father is, frequently. Can you hang with your son for one day....and weekends...and nights, TrojanDad? So you disagree with these statements from the opinion piece?: Why or why not?
  14. https://reason.com/2019/11/13/puppies-and-kittens-trump-the-constitution/ Agreed. There is frankly no reason for this federal law, and it should be repealed or declared unconstitutional by the SCOTUS. What a huge waste of federal time and taxpayers money getting this law drafted and passed.
  15. Wow, CG can afford an Assistant Superintendent just to run the cafeteria? Guess what I've read about the explosion in the numbers of administrative, non-teaching positions across all levels of education is true.
  16. https://www.indystar.com/story/news/education/2019/11/12/indianapolis-public-schools-passes-historic-teacher-pay-raise/2578170001/ $90k is a good chunk of change for a government employee. Wonder how that pay increase will increase student performance in the classroom? Should all Indiana government school employees have the opportunity to get paid $90k a year? From Cannelton to Carmel, from Westville to Washington?
  17. Again, a "make up" day that was probably originally built into the school schedule for weather purposes. My statement still stands. And sorry I don't use twitter.
  18. Looks like the end is close for Mr. Vinatieri: https://www.indystar.com/story/sports/nfl/colts/colts-insider/2019/11/12/colts-working-out-4-kickers-amid-adam-vinatieris-struggles/2572910001/
