  4. As the commentary states: Snowflakes out in the real world. Do any of us wish the GID OOB forum to become an echo-chamber?
  5. Exactly what kind of reprisal are you talking about Dante? A "your views are stupid" or "your views are wrong, and here is why"? Or maybe in the case of colleges & universities it is "I don't like your political views, you get an D in this class."
  6. So every country needs a "Crown". Got it.
  7. Probably my favorite series of SNL skits.
  8. https://www.cnn.com/2019/09/05/europe/uk-parliament-disintegrating-gbr-intl/index.html The world has watched as the very foundations of British politics shifted in front of their eyes. On Tuesday, 1.5 million people tuned into BBC Parliament to see an alliance of rebel lawmakers deal the UK government a humiliating blow, seizing control of the Brexit agenda and forcing embattled Prime Minister Boris Johnson to call for a snap general election. ... The Brexit process has drawn attention to the detail of Britain's constitution, procedures, rules, and how strong they are -- or not. And a breakdown of longstanding conventions has raised fears over a full-blown constitutional crisis in the country. Johnson's plan to suspend Parliament in particular has been branded a "constitutional outrage" for limiting the time that MPs have to debate Brexit. Britain's constitution is unwritten, meaning it is sustained largely through precedent, which has left some commentators wondering whether it is still fit for purpose. "There is a fundamental question this [Brexit] is posing to the UK, about whether its uncodified constitution was doing the job they thought it was," said Catherine Haddon, a senior fellow at the Institute for Government, a London-based independent think tank. "Others argue it is not the constitution that's struggling, but politics that are failing." "It is calling into question constitutional conventions that felt to experts to be strong and intrinsic to our system of government, but you now see political actors starting to talk about whether or not they would adhere to them or how binding they are," Haddon added. All of this together casts doubt over one of the key messages of the campaign to leave the European Union: that by ending the UK's membership within the bloc, it would "bring back sovereignty" to British Parliament. In reality, the government is often in conflict with Parliament, the opposition and even their own back benches. And that tension has ratcheted up as the clock ticks down to October 31, the current deadline for the UK to quit the EU. If the seizure of Parliament Wednesday by a cross-party alliance or rebel lawmakers is any indication, a majority of members in the House feel that Johnson's government doesn't show enough respect for the institution. .... And this is the governmental system that some, including the GID's own Dante Estonia, view as superior to the American system?
  9. https://www.nationalreview.com/2019/09/poll-73-percent-of-republican-students-have-hidden-their-politics-over-fears-about-grades/ Agreed. Blind liberalism has taken over a great many college and university campuses. And our educational system is poorer for it.

  11. Betting on sports is not my thing, but what is the state and local government cut on such activity? It can't be insignificant.
  12. Ok. Boot 'em out of the government school system when they are what, 12-13 years old? And tell them to come back to "Adult Ed" when they are ready?
  13. Why? And under what specific conditions does "not always" apply?
  14. A lot of individuals in Frankfort purchase their ammo from Rural King, right across S.R. 28 from Wal-Mart. https://www.wbko.com/content/news/Rural-King-issues-statement-reaffirming-legal-firearm-sales-559380331.html
  15. For the low IQ/ability who show an interest in bettering themselves, yes. However do you believe such students should always be housed in the same classrooms as academically gifted/high ability students? As for the ones who don't give a damn, frankly I say after a certain point stop wasting teacher's time and taxpayers dollars. You have effectively become nothing more than an expensive babysitter.
  16. I heard this sign was spotted near tiny Argos, along U.S. 31.
  17. Ok. So does Amazon deliver fresh eggs and milk to your Hamilton county compound?
  18. Then please better define the term "the bottom" when is comes to education. Ar e these children who are low IQ/ability or are they the ones that don't give a damn about receiving and education, and usually neither do their parents/guardians?
  19. Yeah, we wouldn't want you walking to your pickup truck and back. And Amazon delivers fresh eggs and milk to your Arcadia compound?
  20. Use their handy dandy pickup service. Order your items via their phone app, schedule a pickup date/time and voila! the items are loaded into your vehicle by a Wal-Mart employee shortly after you arrive. There is no extra charge for this service but there is a $30 minimum order, at least at the Frankfort store.
  21. So the best and the brightest deserve to be in a mixed classroom with the least likely? And please tell us all about the quality discipline in government schools.
  22. It's a game. Played by children.

And who is to blame? Certainly not the administrators and teachers, not in any way, shape or form. Right?
