  1. Meaning: you have no rational response. I get it.
  2. Yes, I do believe that, but coming from a supposed supporter of one of the new kings of running up the score, New Palestine, your incredulous statement comes as no surprise. As for your questions, yes, I do believe teams should take a knee then punt. Your backups are in the game, you have a robust, competitive junior varsity schedule for them to develop and showcase their growing skills, what more do you want? With a running clock the debacle will be over soon, no need to simply end the game. After all the home venue could still earn some $ on concession sales.
  3. "To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women!" Nice lessons for children, right?
  4. Why would I start such a petition? A completely nonsensical statement your your part. And you clearly don't understand the idea behind program contraction. Please educate yourself first instead of making generally incoherent, reactionary, rants.
  5. Yes, among others. Much like the generic "Hamilton Heights" government school corporation.
  6. What Andrew Luck Means: https://deadspin.com/what-andrew-luck-means-1837554491 Yep, Mr. Luck made the right decision. The NFL is slowly failing, and his early retirement is one of the symptoms.
  7. Please explain how my high school Alma Mater is a 'PC loser'. The moniker "Braves" is about a generic a term as you can get, it doesn't indicate a specific Indian tribe or region. Guess it would be better to use a super-generic mascot name like Tigers, Bulldogs, Panthers, etc. *yawn* Also I bet few here on the GID actually know what the word Maconaquah refers to, but I'm sure the internet search engine warriors will fill us in.
  8. Yes, I am. Frankly a 6-0 game would be much more exciting, and a better football game. Thank you for your support.
  9. I don't care if a game has a running clock or not. If you win by 35+ points you have run up the score. End of story. I'm not making a new thread just for this week but let's look at some of the 2019 Week #1 debacles: Adams Central 40 Bellmont 0 Attica 50 Riverton Parke 6 Boonville 42 Washington 6 Carroll (Fort Wayne) 42 Fort Wayne Luers 0 Centerville 42 Cambridge City Lincoln 6 Clinton Prairie 59 Park Tudor 12 Delta 42 Muncie Central 0 Eastside 44 Heritage 0 Evansville North 49 Princeton 7 Fort Wayne Dwenger 41 Fort Wayne Wayne 6 Fort Wayne Snider 51 Fort Wayne North 0 Frontier 44 Anderson Prep Academy 0 Garrett 35 Prairie Heights 0 Gary West 56 Gary Roosevelt 6 Gibson Southern 56 Forest Park 7 Greensburg 52 Shelbyville 7 Heritage Christian 56 Indianapolis Manual 0 Homestead 43 Fort Wayne Northrop 6 Indianapolis Chatard 49 Brebeuf Jesuit 14 Lapel 42 Elwood 6 Lawrence North 55 Perry Meridian 0 Leo 36 Woodlan 0 Michigan City 60 Griffith 7 Mishawaka Marian 51 South Bend Clay 0 Mooresville 54 Lebanon 14 New Palestine 63 Kokomo 13 North Daviess 42 Tecumseh 2 North Newton 58 South Newton 0 North Vermillion 43 Owen Valley 8 Norwell 47 Jay County 0 Oldenburg Academy 42 Rock Creek Academy 6 Osceola Grace 49 Lake Station 0 Parke Heritage 52 Seeger 7 Plainfield 42 Greenfield-Central 6 South Adams 40 Winchester 0 Traders Point Christian 56 Noblesville HomeSchool 8 Warsaw 52 Huntington North 13 Western Boone 41 Sheridan 6 And the What The Heck Game of the Week goes to: Lafayette Jeff 74 West Lafayette 66 This game must have taken 4+ hours to play. How exciting...........
  10. By all means please provide a comprehension list of these "sins", as defined by the Christian Holy Bible.
  11. No Dante, yours did. But you go right on believing your are right. After all you are a supposed educational professional.
  12. David Koch, Billionaire Conservative Philanthropist Dies: https://www.nationalreview.com/news/david-koch-billionaire-conservative-philanthropist-dies/ Methinks some here on the GID will be overjoyed by this news.
  13. Looks like your English teacher failed you as well. I didn't know the U.S. Constitution was written in Old English, as you intimated in your original statement.
  14. Just because you and your students refuse to learn and understand Old English is no reason to throw the document out.
  15. For me a break in this hot, humid weather means a rare opportunity to go hiking/backpacking for the weekend. I'll be in the woods, not in the stands. Sorry.
  16. I know you are joking, but you may not want to go there. At least that is what I was told growing up.
  17. True. You have/are probably going to receive far more from the ponzi scheme than you ever paid in.
  18. Glad I could help pay for your retirement.
  19. Yes, he did. Your continued disparaging remarks of a dead man who knew more about history and government than you obviously every will is duly noted. Do you teach your students that the founders fathers were in effect arch-villains? What is your true history of slavery in the United States, gonzo?
  20. Since I don't have that sweet, sweet, SS money stuffed underneath my mattress like you do such an expense is currently beyond my means, Mr. Huskie.
  21. As part of its ambitious “1619” inquiry into the legacy of slavery, The New York Times revives false 19th century revisionist history about the American founding.: https://reason.com/2019/08/21/the-founders-were-flawed-the-nation-is-imperfect-the-constitution-is-still-a-glorious-liberty-document/ Agreed. Methinks this New York Times series is but another effort to popularize and push reparations on the general public. As one of the comments to this commentary states: "Let’s not be deceived about the real purpose of this series: There is a presidential election in fifteen months, the incumbent president is a Republican, the Democrats lost the last presidential election because African-American voters did not turn out in the numbers they did in 200 and 2012, and the Democrats and their allies in the media are bound and determined not to let that happen again. Thus, the incessant drumbeat about racism, white supremacy, reparations, and the legacy of slavery. Which is not to say that the incumbent Republican president doesn’t play into their hands by providing constant fodder for his opponents. But there clearly is a reason this “1619 Project” was not published during the Obama years."
  22. The amount of orange would blind me.
