  4. What part of "arrested" do you not understand? As long as Mr. Epstein evaded the long arm of the law the Clintons had really no reason to deal with him, and now with his arrest they did. Possibly Mr. Trump as well. Which side 'suicided' Mr. Epstein? We'll probably never really know.
  5. So the late Mr. Epstein was arrested for the sexual abuse of children during those years when it was known that Mr. Clinton flew on Mr. Epstein's plane? No, Mr. Epstein was 'suicided' because he had dirt on Mr. Clinton and others, possibly even Mr. Trump. The Clinton have done it before. #clintonbodycount.

  7. So that permit is just filling out a few lines and paying a few thousand $? Is Indiana tank friendly? There used to be a private military/tank museum near Crawfordsville that IIRC had dozens of those types of vehicles.

  10. One wonders why our civilian peacekeepers, aka local law enforcement, are allowed to own and use military grade weaponry, but now the call is not allow the actual civilians to own and use them? Cops Still Love Their Armored Vehicles: https://reason.com/2019/08/13/cops-still-love-their-armored-vehicles/ If local civilian law enforcement is allowed to own and use MRAP's, concussion grenades, etc. then why can't I own and use a bazooka, or a tank?

  13. https://reason.com/2019/08/11/illinois-is-the-canary-in-the-pension-coal-mine-says-adam-schuster/#comments The state of Illinois is pretty much waiting for a federal government bailout at this point. And because of Chicago they will probably get it. How nice to make all Americans pay for bad decisions of Illinois.

  14. Yes sir, Mr. Grammar Nazi sir. But perhaps you could have actually asked me if I still owned said gun before making yet another nitpicking statement. I used both the shotgun and the rifle. Hunted for squirrel and rabbit with the shotgun, mainly target shot with the rifle.
  15. No, I didn't. My quote was: The word 'old' does not necessarily assume ownership of an item. I sold that particular firearm several years ago and currently do not own a firearm. And a Jart is not a firearm. Reading comprehension is your friend.
  16. School Choice Increases Earnings in Colombia: https://www.cato.org/blog/school-choice-increases-earnings-colombia 16 people are talking about this The research team, led by Stanford University’s Eric Bettinger, found that winning a lottery to use a voucher to attend a private school in 6th grade increased earnings by 8 percent overall and 11 percent for females by the time the students reached around 33 years of age. In other words, it looks like school choice could help close the gender wage gap in Colombia. The program also increased adult earnings by 17 percent for students who applied to vocational schools. Higher earnings should be enough to demonstrate this voucher program’s success. But don’t drop the mic just yet. The study also found that winning the voucher lottery reduced the likelihood of having a child as a teenager by 18 percent. Voucher lottery winners were also 17 percent more likely to complete secondary school on time and 13 percent more likely to enroll in tertiary education than the control group. The authors also reported that these long-run gains “occur at a low or possibly negative cost to taxpayers,” implying the program has a positive return on investment. We should consider all relevant outcomes when evaluating any education policy, especially since families don’t want schools solely focusing on standardized tests. Families want schools to help their children succeed in life. And it looks like private schools in Colombia are doing just that.
  17. I guess that makes me a Canadian as well.
  18. https://reason.com/2019/08/12/china-exports-its-panopticon/ It is chilling. How long before forms of this technology are used for certain brown immigrants to the United States of America, of course under the guise of 'stability maintenance'? But then again I bet England does it first, if it already hasn't down so.

  20. But, but isn't it dangerous for children to play outside where they could get hurt, kidnapped, etc.? And isn't the best form of 'play' 100% organized activities run by adults? Children needs to either be supervised by an adult or 'supervised' by a device (phone, tablet, console, TV, etc.)
