  1. Confucius say....don't forget grasshopper, man standing on toilet is high on pot and Bosse plays in SIAC which give magical power. (gracious respectful bow)
  2. This is the last time these two teams will meet under the "old" PAC structure. Even though SR will be in the PAC small division next season and GS in the large division, it has been reported that they will meet as a "cross-over" game next season. SR had beaten GS nine seasons in a row before the current GS run of defeating SR six consecutive seasons. Since the opening of GS in 1974, Southridge leads series 20-13. Gibson Southern (6-2) at Southridge (7-1) GAME TIME: 7:30 pm ET, Raider Field. COACHES: Nick Hart, 82-14 in 8th year at Gibson Southern. 3. No sir.....not directed at you at all! Your point made total sense to me.
  4. Thanks my friend...it is amazing there are folks on this board that still need that explanation.
  5. I think Chris's comment was tongue and cheek because historically the knock on the PAC has been the strength schedule...particularly from our neighbor conference to the South. I would venture a guess that Chris's point is that is has been proven time and time again that it is quite possible to develop a semi-state level competitor from out of this conference most years just the way it is. I say that within full view of the sun that of course a tougher schedule is sometimes more desirable and sometimes the best team in the state is in your sectional.
  6. Styles make fights. There were some tremendous athletes in that Southport secondary. Keep in mind Allen had 207 yards passing and I am sure he is a little frustrated about 5 or so drops. HH has 9 two way players. GS had at least a couple in and out on D/O lines.
  7. No indication that I have heard of regarding a PC forfeit.
  8. The thing is...the winner of this game could very easily be the loser come sectional time...particularly if it feels like the teams are as balanced at the statistical tools would suggest.
  9. Our College Exposure Camps are designed for football players in classes graduating years 2020-2023 of every position (except specialists) to display their talents in front of our professional staff and collegiate scouts. The colleges in attendance range from FCS, D2, NAIA, and D3. We have four locations this December. All of the dates below are during the NCAA recruiting period and we have been approved by the NCAA. 10. Does anyone know if the Southport QB played? Also did DL (#93) & #2 WR play? I know #1 didn’t play due to the ejection.
  11. No word of boat burnings yet....I think they had to call out the EPA last time due to the boat being plastic!
  12. Whatever you do.....don't bring a tiger on a stick!
  13. Isn’t that 1984 guy on here kinda a Princeton fan? or maybe Vincennes.
  14. Somehow this posted 3 times...have asked the moderators to delete the extras.
  15. This will be the last time the meeting between these two County Rivals will be a non-conference game and starting next season the first time these two teams have been in the same conference since 1992. Princeton is the only school Gibson Southern has played every year since it's opening in 1974 as a consolidation of Fort Branch, Haubstadt and Owensville High Schools. Gibson Southern leads the series 33-15. Princeton (1-3) at Gibson Southern (3-1) GAME TIME: 7 pm CT, Jewell Field. COACHES: Jared Maners, 7-17 in 3rd year at Princeton. Nick Hart, 79-13 in 8th year at Gibson Southern. SAGARIN RATINGS: Gibson Southern, 67.32, 65th overall, 7th in 3A. Princeton, 24.67, 244th overall, 51st in 3A. 16. Oh I Absolutely agree...got to try to get that first down!! Kid always competes!!
  17. Agree....seems as if there are two teaching moments resulting from this play.
  18. Yes we have. Happens too often in too many sports IMHO to be coincidental. Just like some of the sectional draws. (Queue Coach Nowlin to tell me I'm a conspiracy theorist)
  19. I can agree with that....the whole thing with going hours east to west....been debated here already but there is no sound logic.
