  1. I have been blocked for saying nothing remotely controversial!
  2. The assessed values will go up and eat a substantial portion of the debt organically.
  3. Agree on drilling through the failing coating.
  4. I think "open field" is for non-spring athletes. I don't think coaches can participate; it must be player-led.
  5. I should be more clear.....I am having trouble envisioning how bolting some sort of seating device to the top of the concrete won't make that new seating surface too high. In other words.....won't fans look like Humpty Dumpty sitting on this new surface?
  6. I'm having trouble envisioning how seating will bolt to the existing concrete.
  7. Based on that logic.....why wear a helmet....you will learn soon enough that it sucks without one?
  8. I've always wondered what this one is based on so early with no coach questionnaire being filled out. They literally have nothing to go on rather than last years record.
  9. It always cracks me up when I hear guys who have never been an RB with 25+ carries a game say kneepads don't help. Contusions and bruises hurt my friends...they ache...they make it take longer for you to get warm and loose, and they accumulate in number and intensity as the season goes on. You simply aren't as fluid when beat up, no matter how "tough" you are. Not having knee pads is MUCH more about fashion than effectiveness.
  10. Fort Branch Indiana....wind and some limbs down but we were lucky.
  11. Facebook Performance Bonus Program: This program allows creators to earn money based on the engagement their content receives, including likes, comments, and shares.
  12. He always takes something good and screws it up.....I feel like it must be inconsistencies in a medication schedule. P.S. He is also blocking people on his page for doing nothing but tastefully disagreeing with his positions.
  13. I like your suggestion and the premise behind the rule (not having kids transfer right before senior year).....but....this first year, they need to let the current Juniors make the move. They can do it now or face the onslaught of litigation later.
  14. Dumbest setting ever....but what would I know.
  15. I won't lie.....Gibson Southern could potentially benefit heavily from the North and Princeton districts with football.
  16. I think a school like Tri-West, for example, could lose very top-level D1 type talent to a place like Brownsburg, but conversely, it might receive kids who don't get on the field much at a 6A school, especially as sophomores or juniors. 3A and 4A schools can win state championships with a team full of hard-working Johny D2s/D3s who love the game and just want to play.
  17. This is an EVSC problem...not a North problem. North has challenges for sure.....especially with the dumb districting. That said, the EVSC isn't a good corporation to work for (relative to other public corporations in our part of the state) in any capacity. I shudder to think what a freakin power house the SIAC would be if this was fixed.
  18. Under...but what is more interesting is how many went completely through the process then said....no thanks.
  19. That's precisely the point I was making. It makes things very difficult. Being a teacher in that corporation is no joy ride either from what I have been told.
  20. It makes it hard when all the schools have to be created equal from a resourcing standpoint despite their success level.
  21. This might not go over well with this crowd.....but it's going to be hard to find a proven coach who wants to coach/teach at any school in the EVSC.
  22. I do feel there should be, and hopefully will be, some sort of special circumstance rule this first year to allow for current Juniors to take advantage of the new rule.
  23. At the end of the day, any conjecture outside of this press release is purely speculative....look for the good stuff to come out in April.
  24. I think they are situated well for the transfer rule to work in their favor....they will attract top talent, they could lose depth type kids to places like Tri-West but on the other hand they will pull a lot of top talent away from some of those same places.
