Gibson Southern attended two 7 on 7 tournaments this weekend and won both. Hopkinsville KY Best of the West and SIU Carbondale Nick Hill Tournament. "Exposure" 7 on 7 culture. If you have been to any of these events, this over-the-top celebration is encouraged and even videoed for social media. After all, the name of the game is "exposure" at all costs. Do whatever it takes to get views. The adults the kids pay to play on these 7 on 7 teams create an environment conducive to this type of behavior and they are unapologetic for it, I mean we want the kids to have "fun" right??

I would add that the "honorable mention" should probably just be called "mention". Basically what it means is that your coach put you up for vote and you didn't receive enough votes to win whatever position you were submitted for. And...there is no "second team".

Ok so looks like Maxpreps isn't cleaned up for SR. Sooo...at least Schroeder and Arroyo were seniors. I will look for a SR roster when time allows.
