Just admit you are pulling for your region guy and move on. Did you happen to watch the UM/OSU game Saturday? Michigan has the best OL in the country and ran for 10 yards in the first half because OSU continually had 8-9 guys in the box. It wasn’t until the second half after they’d been burned by the deep ball multiple times before they shredded them in the run game. How many voters actually saw both teams play? Dumb question. Every region votes for their guy and stuffs the ballot box. It comes down to the other areas. If Hansen wins, brace yourself for the “Indy bias” crowd to return and whine.

Just stop. The damn kid carried the ball 400+ times and EVERY opposing defense KNEW it was coming…and couldn’t stop it. I don’t care how good your line is, if a team stacks 8/9 guys in the box and the guy still runs over you, it’s insulting to claim “it’s just the line.”

Yes. I will probably get criticized for saying this but level of competition has to matter at some point, especially if you are going to use stats as your main reasoning. What were Bowen's stats against Merrillville and Crown Point?

Gonna see if the committee puts their money where their mouth is tonight. #5? Alabama or OSU? OSU with better quality wins (Penn State/Notre Dame) but a lopsided HOME loss (Michigan). Bama with no major wins but two last second ROAD losses (LSU/Tennessee). Of course if all of the top four win, its a moot point. Hell, I think TCU now has wiggle room.

Took the high road on that. I respect a team that can make it to Thanksgiving weekend but I made my opinion regarding CG’s schedule publicly known in the 6A title game thread.

All I heard all offseason was how “different” this OSU defense was. Stats lie. They were physical for a half yesterday and once the emotion wore off and Minter adjusted, it was curtains. Multiple Michigan players quoted as saying they saw the quit in the eyes of many on the OSU defense. Also, think it didn’t help that the Buckeyes rarely had anyone punch them back in the 4th quarter for most of the season.

Knew the moment OSU turned to a Big XII coordinator in response to last year’s thrashing, they were in trouble. Fake tough guys, no snow this time.
