  1. Just stating facts. Just a simple comparison of two current head coaches and programs and where they stand in 2025. DeBoer about to lose 2-3 games with 3-4 times as many 5 stars as Sherrone, yet Moore's squad is "on the struggle bus." Not my rules.
  2. Only thing that gives me pause is "playoff Brownsburg." As I mentioned when the pairings were released, one state title cannot erase my memory of their past playoff failures. A win Friday night goes a long way. Not an excuse guy, but CG's injuries were well documented and you could tell they missed those guys. Credit to Warren for getting the win.
  3. Title of the thread..."2025 College Football Season"...try to stay on topic.
  4. If “struggle bus” is the term you use to describe Michigan, I am on the edge of my seat with your description of the other teams listed above.
  5. Alabama: 8-2 (14 five stars) Texas: 7-3 (13 five stars) Clemson: 5-5 (7 five stars) Penn State: 4-6 (4 five stars) Florida: 3-7 (4 five stars) South Carolina: 3-7 (4 five stars) Auburn: 4-6 (3 five stars) Colorado: 3-7 (3 five stars) Michigan: 8-2 (4 five stars) (Half of which are out with season ending injuries.) Drop the shovel man.
  6. It’s almost like having a 22 year old player at the most important position on the field who has started 30+ games at the college level is important… Kudos to the Hoosiers. Stick to talking about them. It makes you sound halfway intelligent.
  7. I repeat, the Vegas over under for Michigan wins this year was 8.5… they should get that this weekend. And don’t look now, but the forecast looks pretty favorable in Ann Arbor in 11-12 days…we know who that favors. Called 9-3 preseason, mainly due to the youth. Winning a title gives me grace…don’t need to look forward to next year cause I’m still basking in the 2023 natty. ”The last real national champion” (before the expanded playoff). You know, when every week mattered and you had to be PERFECT. And Michigan went 15-0. And will be a preseason top 10 team next year, despite what happens this month. I really hope you get to experience your favorite team hoisting a championship trophy one of these days. It’s a surreal feeling.
  8. Trying to “both sides” it huh?
  9. Well, sure. But then you took the “over” on 1.5 HCC teams at Lucas Oil.
  10. Just did a quick follow up. Apparently, enough folks complained, and the game was moved to Paycor. Mods feel free to delete.
  11. “The St. Xaiver vs Elder footbal game in Region 4 Friday evening was scheduled to play at Mason High School which has a capacity of 7k. Tickets went on sale yesterday at noon while students were at school, and most parents work. At 12:15PM all tickets were sold. Both schools asked to move to a larger venue as 80% of the student bodies were unable to get tickets, and OHSAA refused. Hamilton County even offered Paycor Stadium at reduced rates to play the game there, and OHSAA still refuses. There are also quite a few parents of players and band members who also didn't get tickets to watch their kids perform.”
  12. @23andCounting can you break down and make a pick on the Westfield/Carroll contest?
  13. Obviously "on the struggle bus."
  14. Once again, opinion. Let's stick to facts here. I was told they were "on the struggle bus" and had some "bad losses" weeks ago. 9-3 with 17+ starters returning in 2026 is reason for optimism. Now do Bama... A successful attempt at that. Oh, and one more thing... I'm not completely sold they won't be 10-2...
  15. Yeah, true. But hey, as someone often criticized for getting off topic as it relates to the thread title, lets focus on the 2025 season eh? Not as much fun for you?
  16. GS' QB #1 is worth 17 points? Damn.
  17. The amount of cope is thick. I stated facts, you opinion. #strugglebus
  18. 1. HCC teams in Lucas Oil: 1.5 2. Fort Wayne teams in Lucas Oil: 1.5 3. Adams County teams in Lucas Oil: 0.5 4. McLaughlin rushing yards: 200+ 5. South Bracket teams in LOS: 4.5 6. 5A teams in purple in LOS: 0.5 7. Private/parochials in LOS: 3.5 8. Schools making their first trip to LOS: 3.5 9. Total Points in St. Joe/Dwenger: 31.5 10. Total Points in Lapel/Brownstown: 52.5 Tiebreakers: 1. Largest margin of victory? Which game, in whose favor and what’s the point differential? 2. Closest margin of victory? Which game, in whose favor and what’s the point differential? Happy picking!
  19. Just a quick fact emerging from this weekend. The two gentlemen in this photo have led their teams to 8-2 records through 10 games. One has done so with a senior laden team and has lost to one ranked team and an unranked team, the other has done so while starting 6 freshmen/redshirt freshmen and has lost to two ranked teams. The one on the right is also 1-0 against the one on the left as a head coach. Carry on all! #thestrugglebus
  20. Unless Carroll beats Westfield Friday.
