Easily. If you can come back from a week 3 loss to NIU and comfortably make the playoff, you can easily bounce back from two early season close losses against solid opponents. Freeman will have to do his best coaching ever however.

Thanks for the kind words and feedback. 1. As it relates to Crown Point, you may be right. However, they can only play the teams in front of them and attempted to beef up their schedule with a trip to Indy's westside. Pike, unfortunately did not hold up their end of the bargain. If you view my rankings as more of a "resume" type of system as opposed to a "who would beat who" that would be my suggestion. I think the top 3 in 6A (Brownsburg, Carmel, and CG) are heads and shoulders above the rest of the class, but that is merely by looking at box scores, heresay and margin of victory. Carmel absolutely decimated Fishers and Westfield and would probably do the same to Crown Point. They would not beat em by 50 though, which is why I have CP clustered with the aforementioned teams. The teams around Crown Point have great resume building opportunities in front of them as it relates to the schedule so their resume could potentially leapfrog CP and knock the Bulldogs back a bit. 2. I might get back to the predictions this week. Time will tell.

Gonna have some fun with this one. Center Grove - 63 Ben Davis - 35 Trojans now 2-0 in the MIC, out scoring opponents 87-41.

Carmel can really put themselves in the national spotlight with a win tonight.

Carmel has dismantled all three opponents that they have played and I firmly believe Fishers and HSE are borderline top 10 teams. Brownsburg beat a nationally ranked Spalding (MD) squad that has since lost another game and is sitting at 2-1, along with the worst Cathedral team in the past 10 years and a low tier HCC team in Franklin Central.

Even those who have seen CP play in person this year have stated publicly that they are not the same team as last who got drubbed by Westfield in the tournament. Avon beat the defending 5A state champions in Decatur Central and Fishers beat last year's MIC champion Lawrence North. C'mon.

You would have them favored over Avon, HSE and Fishers right now?

I missed on Pike. No fault of Crown Point, but the Red Devils are 0-3 and have not even been competitive save for a couple of quarters against a BD team that seems young. No excuses BUT it was also stated that Pike's QB is banged up. C'mon. You know I love banter and sensationalism more so than anyone but they are a mid-tier HCC team at best.

They'd compete for the HHC title, no doubt...but not the HCC. Yes. This is not a unique situation, nor the fault of Crown Point. I am guilty in my own poll but can't punish teams for beating the teams in front of them. It is hard with a straight face to insert a 6-3 HCC/MIC team over a 9-0 Crown Point (or whomever else is not an Indy area 6A school) in my rankings.

No doubt. I probably have CP overrated but they can’t help it as they scheduled Pike. All they can do is beat the teams in front of them. I have a hard time seeing them not enter the tournament undefeated. Would love to see em get a BD/Warren/CG on the schedule in the future.

So the gap from 5th to 15th is 4 touchdowns?
