  1. Zero disagreement here even though I never saw him play in high school and am supposedly an “Indy guy”.
  2. With all of the advancements in training and equipment, I would love to see Woodson in the modern era.
  3. CFP doing away with seeding conference champions and just going straight seeding. Also, rumors of 14-16 in the next 2-3 years.
  4. Thanks for the resource. Down 10 pounds, blood pressure 115/75, running 45 miles per week (training for a full), highly effective educator for the 15th time in 17 years, hot wife, happy life. Hope you’re good.
  5. You were so confident. It was adorable. I believe you even gave me +20.5…and then Michigan WON by 22, lol.
  6. You and Ryan claimed 2021 was a fluke and a reckoning was coming in 2022…and Michigan scored 45 points and won by three possessions. You'll forever be lumped in as a Bucknut going forward.
  7. Happy to all those who celebrate… (I assume @Footballking16, @Coach Nowlin, @Bobref and @Bash Riprock won’t be celebrating, but you still can send me your addresses and I’ll send you a cupcake.)
  8. I absolutely detest the phrase “team of destiny” but am starting to think it may apply in this situation.
  9. “Couldn’t care less.” Thought Purdue was a place for intelligent folks? ”Ever grateful, ever true…”
  10. Yeah. The fan of a team that had zero FBS wins last season hitching his wagons to a program he has no allegiance to in order to “stick it to” another message board poster whom he’s never met AFTER claiming he cannot take said message board poster “seriously” is a real sign of a serious adult, lol. If you can’t do it, send your big brother to…only problem is Michigan is also your big brother’s daddy.
  11. Hope you're wrong...fear you're right.
  12. I mean, Purdue fans have to root for SOMETHING other than the product they put on the field. Good call on your part.
  13. EDIT: If Sherrone can go in there in his first full season as head coach with a walk on QB and two first round draft picked not dressed and win, I remain confident.
  14. Uh, welcome to my life from 2000-2019… Gotta beat Michigan once this decade before I can commit to predicting it to happen multiple times. As long as Ryan Day is on the opposing sideline, I’m pretty confident. If a guy like Lou Holtz can get in this guy’s head, imagine what going to bed nightly knowing you haven’t beaten Michigan since 2019 feels like. Dude had a massive talent advantage this past season, especially on the outside and wanted to prove he had the “tougher team” by running straight at two top 15 picks repeatedly. If Sherrone can go in there in his first full season as head coach with a walk on QB and two first round draft picks, I remain confident. I said what I said about Grant and Curry. And it’s a valid comparison. People just get their feelings hurt too easily.
  15. I mean, yes. But once again, no upside to USC playing ND… At least it used to be spun as an opportunity to make a footprint with recruits from the Midwest but now that they are in the Big Ten, they do that annually. Join a conference already.
  16. Wait, its a rivalry because Rockne's wife wanted to go on vacation? Wow. If anything, that proves my point. In modern day football, USC doesn't need Notre Dame. Schedule a couple of non-conference gimmes and then split your games in the Big Ten against the Big Four and you are a playoff team annually.
  17. Enlighten me.
  18. Rich coming from a program that ditched Michigan and wants to uphold their “protected rivalries” with Army and Navy. Meanwhile, a two loss USC is getting in the 12 team playoff 90+% of the time. No need for premier non-conference games when you play a combination of Oregon, Ohio State, Michigan, and Penn State annually. In modern day football with the expanded playoff and conference expansion, teams don’t need Notre Dame on the schedule anymore. I have never understood the ND/USC rivalry to be honest. No geographical relevance.
  19. Don’t blame em. Why would USC need Notre Dame when they already play a Big Ten gauntlet?
  20. I think the Grant/Curry comparison is actually quite fair. Curry was rated much higher than Grant outside of high school and has yet to see the field consistently for a team that Grant's team has dominated. Why does something have to be "wrong with me" for wanting me to have a completely fair discussion? My life is great actually. For someone that looks down on me and is judgmental to someone whom they've never met, you sure do get triggered easily. I'd also like to point out that in Curry's commitment video, he claims Michigan's days of dominance over the Buckeyes are over...yet here we are.
  21. Spoiler alert, Curry is currently listed as the backup DE entering this fall in Columbus...
  22. Knew you couldn’t resist this one but when you gotta cite special teams snaps as an argument, you’ve lost. Grant (and Graham for that matter) were instantaneous studs at Michigan…Curry is an situational guy on a defense that is winless against Michigan largely because they couldn’t get stops and get off the field during crucial times. But hey, at least you didn’t cite “the sign stealer.”
  23. I may be overstepping my boundaries here and not staying on subject, but I often hear comparisons of professional basketball players in the 80s/90s versus today… Modern NBA players are also bigger, faster, and stronger but (without giving @Bobref a coronary), rules, and how games are officiated are much different. The amount of holding and grabbing that used to be allowed in both sports would challenge today’s teams greatly.
  24. Feeling feisty tonight…anyone ready to have the Caden Curry/Kenneth Grant debate? Why do so many guys at Ohio State not meet expectations or seem to regress? https://247sports.com/player/caden-curry-46093621/high-school-241943/ https://247sports.com/player/kenneth-grant-46082230/high-school-232383/
