    Still as thin skinned as you’ve always been I see. Salty too. These kids are making north of 6 figures in many cases. You can suck on the “leave these poor young boys alone” shtick. Young adults should be held accountable for their words, no? Has Curry even made a tackle in “The Game?”

    “Good programs” sure. But I don’t see that gap closing anytime soon…if anything it’ll get larger.

    Crown Point, while admirably scheduling this game, honestly has lose/lose situation from an optics standpoint. If they win, it will be spun as “well, it’s just Pike” (annually a bottom tier MIC unit)… If they lose, it’ll reinforce the belief of many (including myself) that the only serious 6A football is played in Hamilton, Marion and Hendricks counties. I’m on board with this.

    I’m old enough to remember when a one win Noblesville took Homestead to the brink… It’s just different down here man.

    I think Carroll and Noblesville would be one hell of a game.

    Was thinking the same thing. Is the consensus that Noblesville leveled up with the hire of Hebert?

    11 of those 27 wins have been outside of the HCC. They’ve fared very well in the non conference slate.

    I don’t expect either of those contests to be close.

    Back on topic… Crown Point/Pike this fall will tell us a lot. I know it’s early in the season and just one data point but if Crown Point wants to be taken seriously they need to win that game by double digits.

    The real debate begins with what conference is third. You could make a case for the SAC, Duneland, Mid-State or SIAC and I’d be willing to listen.

    I said what I said. Look, I don’t want to be accused of hijacking another thread. The Duneland is a top 5 conference in the state, maybe better. But the gap after the top two conferences is massive. Lets leave it at that.

    I actually think it’ll strengthen some of the lower class teams that are nearby 6A schools. If little Johnny can’t start at the 6A school because mommy and daddy think the coach is biased, Johnny shows up at the 1A-3A school down the road and balls out.
