  1. I posted this on another thread, but we have NIL for high school players here in California. It hasn't really changed the landscape that much, if at all. The power programs before NIL are still the power programs with NIL.

  5. I totally get what you are saying, seems like adults trying to manufacture a level of excitement for the players. It just looks/ feels flat. That said, short of Marcus Freeman coming around that corner as the new HC, who would have delivered the level of excitement the administration was hoping to receive. But winning has a way of generating excitement, that will be the real test.
  6. If the IHSAA created an "Open Class" that was intended to be comprised of the best 32 teams in the state, regardless of enrollment numbers, and inclusion was voluntary, would they be able to fill it?
