  1. Of course it's quiet, when Eastbrook and Ole Miss aren't rolling over their CIC opponents there is nothing to talk about, like "what conference should they go to to give the other schools an opportunity to win". Other schools are winning and the Panthers and Indians are losing. All is good in CIC Country. Alexandria at Mississinewa ©, 7 pm Closer game than some might think - Alex by 7 Blackford at Eastbrook ©, 7 pm Eastbrook by a lot. Good game to start getting everyone healthy if needed. Frankton at Oak Hill ©, 7 pm Oak Hill by 4, Touchdowns Madison-Grant at Elwood ©, 7 pm MG JV play the 3rd, Freshman in the 4th. Good luck to all teams! Safe travels to all!
  2. All is quiet and the crickets are well on the CIC front this season.... Let's kick out the crickets and make some noise! Big week with some key games this week that could decide the pecking order early in conference play. Blackford at Alexandria ©, 7 pm Alex getting some chatter in the rankings, not sure why but if somebody could enlighten me I would appreciate it. Alex big in this one. Elwood at Frankton ©, 7 pm Frankton with a huge upset in week 1 over the Bluedevils, devils hang 69 on Elwood last week. Frankton won't score 69, but will win by at least 4 scores. Mississinewa at Madison-Grant ©, 7 pm M-G with their best start since 2007 and looking like a well rounded team, against 1A teams. Ole Miss riding high after beating a rebuilding, young Marion team could overlook this game. I'm going upset, M-G over the Indians by 3. Eastbrook at Oak Hill ©, 7 pm Game of the night! Sagarin has OH at 76 and EHS at 77. Both teams ranked in the Top 15 of their class. Guessing standing room only at this one. Should be a close one, starters playing all 4 quarters. Eastbrook pulls off the victory though on the last drive of the game... Good luck to all teams on Friday! Safe travels to the fans and a healthy night for the players!
  3. He is a Stud. But what probably impressed me the most was the blocking for him. You don't only have to control the line, you have to find his backfield and control them. They block just as well as the line and spring him open more than anything. The O line gets things set up, then the RBs come through and clean everyone out. It was quite impressive to see first hand last week. Also, Ball control. They don't break the huddle until 11 seconds to go almost every down. Very methodical.
  4. It was trapped, official made the call, right or wrong. Eastbrook won an instant classic against a very good Tipton team. Congrats on a great season Blue Devils. Tipton Fans were anything but hospitable (You always have that one or isolated group that isn't. Both sides are guilty of that) Tipton fans didn't raise a stink about us being on the field celebrating the win, walked through the tunnel on their side to leave the field and nothing but congrats given, both ways. Game is over, nothing is gonna change no matter what is said here. On to the next game.
  5. It will be on IHSAAtv.org. Here is a listing of all games if interested: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vTVlaceJ92dqFQ95rQEwkAr-i-PARCR75inEMfxj_v97yTgMXnszcA_C29Uro6Q0zyFFktlauIO9Wf7/pubhtml
  6. Doesn't look like any video is streaming. But there are radio options: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vTVlaceJ92dqFQ95rQEwkAr-i-PARCR75inEMfxj_v97yTgMXnszcA_C29Uro6Q0zyFFktlauIO9Wf7/pubhtml
  7. The game we had hoped would happen has come to fruition. Eastbrook wanting to avenge an early exit from the tournament last year, Tipton wanting to prove that last year wasn't a fluke and that they are the Panthers Kryptonite. #1(2) Eastbrook at #6(8) Tipton. This Eastbrook defense seems to have a chip on it's shoulder, not just 1st string, every string wanting to prove a point. Bend a little and break you more. Can count on one hand how many TDs they have been allowed this season by the starters. Offense, they run the ball, but as people are finding out they have passing threat now also. Brings a great dynamic to an already high powered offense. Tipton also looks to be well rounded. QB that likes to throw and a very good RB. I know that the coaching staff will have them well prepared and ready for this rematch. Eastbrook still to much, running clock streak may end tonight. Starters play all 4 quarters. Panthers win by 20. Sectional championship on the line. Coach Adamson's 300th win on the line. Season on the line. Can't wait for Friday Night!!! Good luck to both teams. Hope everybody stays healthy and injury free! Safe travels to all family and fans!
  8. I realize that, just don't like throwing kids names out there. Is there a health update on Mr. Dollar by chance? Didn't see any news about the game, just saw that he had 4 carries for 20 yards. Was there an injury or just resting up for Friday's game?
  9. Do officials research the teams at all to see what kind of offense they run? For example, Eastbrook's quick tempo offense, do the officials know what they are getting into or does the coaches give them a heads up? I would hate to show up to a game to expecting a standard offense only to realize I am sprinting when a certain team has the ball.
  10. Ok, Can't not ask. Who is beating Luers in your eyes? Do they win their sectional? Lose to who in Regionals?
  11. Eastbrook [9-0] at Lapel [8-2] Looks like another nasty night for football, Cold and rainy. Looks like RB1 for Lapel might be dinged up, only 4 carries for 20 yards. Not that he would be an issue for this Eastbrook D. Don't see much passing this game, this will be won in the trenches. With that being said, Eastbrook by 4 TDs. Running clock streak extended. Tipton [9-1] at Alexandria [4-5] Might be closer then most would think. Feel as though it may come down to turnovers and Special teams being the difference here. Tipton by 14 Good luck to all teams! Hope all stay healthy and injury free.
  12. Eastbrook 7 Eastern 0 6:16 left in 1st. Eastern fumbles kickoff, next play: Eastbrook 14 Eastern 0 6:04 left on 1st
  13. Eastern (Greentown) [7-2] at Eastbrook [8-0] Lapel [7-2] at Frankton [3-6] Blackford [1-7] at Tipton [8-1] Alexandria [3-5] at Elwood [0-8] Looks fairly cut and dry, but Eastbrook clearly has more of a challenge than Tipton. If it plays out to be Tipton v Eastbrook, game would be at Tipton. But there are games to be played before that happens. Eastern @ Eastbrook - Panther fans have all their Bells shined up with that fresh Tourney paint and ready to go. Eastern can't handle the hurry up, running clock streak may come to an end, still see the Panthers winning by 30+. Lapel @ Frankton - As much as Frankton has been improving throughout the season, Lapel runs away with it. Blackford @ Tipton - Tipton by as much as the refs let them win by. Alex @ Elwood - Second time around, same story, Alex with the win. It's win or go home time. Eastbrook with the big #1 Target on their back and Tipton out to prove that last year wasn't a fluke, or a gift. Could Eastern or Lapel claim the big upset? Only time will tell.... Good luck to all teams! Hope all stay healthy and injury free!!!
  14. Could there be 3 Sectional Champs* in the CIC this year? Most will say no because the SOS is weak. I would like to believe there is a chance. Jay County at Mississinewa*, 7 pm Ole Miss seems to be coming together and the new QB1 is leading this high powered offense to a 6 game winning streak and 2nd place in the CIC. Ole Miss by 14. Oak Hill* at Bellmont, 7 pm Oak Hill RB1 can't be stopped by meager Defenses. Bellmont seems to give up lots of points. Oak Hill by 4 Tds. RB1 adding 4 or more to his TD count. Eastern at Eastbrook*, 7 pm Eastbrook keeps this train rolling. Running clock streak extended? Hopefully not, would love to see A squad go the full 4 quarters. Eastern keeps it close for a few, can't handle the hurry up offense. Eastbrook by 30 Lapel at Frankton, 7 pm Frankton improving week by week. Future looks good. Lapel by 25. Blackford at Tipton, 7 pm Tipton has the easiest path to the Sectional Final. Tipton by as much as they want. Alexandria at Elwood, 7 pm Could be the best game for the CIC teams. First matchup Alex wins by 14. See the same happening in this one also. Alex by 14. South Adams at Madison-Grant, 7 pm Runner up for best game of the night. South Adams to high powered for MG unfortunately. SA by 21. Good luck to all teams. Hope all stay healthy and injury free!
  15. Grass was cut too short.... Sprinkler and MIracle Gro couldn't get it to the mandatory 6inch blades required for play...
