  1. He is still at Eastbrook.  He is a senior this year and has been the full time QB.  Last year he was in a rotation with the starting QB.  He is having a good season so far, of course passing yards isn't astronomical in a very run heavy offense...  But he does have over 1000 all purpose yards.

How is Blackford’s QB??  I heard he had a torn ACL and was out for the rest of the season.  Is that true??

Just saw in the Pick' em that somebody said he is out for the season.  Not sure what the injury is.  Hope for a speedy recovery to that young man....

  3. Feels like it's just mediocre matchups this week.  You would think there would be hype around the Eastbrook V Alex game, being that it's for outright first place in the conference and all.  But for some reason everybody thinks the Panthers have already won .  This could be a catch game if the Panthers aren't careful.  I know Coach Adamson will have these boys pumped up and ready to go, but we can't look past this game.  Alex will be just as ready if not more.  The chance to slay the mighty Panthers, take the milk can and the conference lead...  From what I understand Alex has a mighty passing attack, which, as we all know, seems to be an achilles for the Panther D.  Would be interesting to know how much the Panthers worked on the Secondary D this week.  Still don't think this will be a huge threat as long as they can disrupt the pocket and pressure the QB all night... But "Any Given Friday", No win is guaranteed....

I think this forum will blow up next week if MG and Elwood keep their streak going.... BATTLE OF THE DEFEATED!!!!  But we have to play this week first, can't get ahead of ourselves....

Good luck to all teams and fans this week, stay healthy and show sportsmanship in the stands.  Safe travels to all!

    GO PANTHERS!!!!

  4. The dust has settled at Panther Stadium, and Eastbrook came out on top of a great battle for "Frank".  Looked good on the interwebs, although the commentating was rough....

Alexandria came out on top vs the up and coming Argylls.

Is Blackford the real Deal this season?  Coach Sehy has got that team rolling!

    Week 5 matchups and thoughts.....

Alexandria @ Blackford - Match up of the week...  Battle at the top of the CIC.  I am going with Blackford on this one, Defense and clock management for the Bruins win.

Frankton @ Elwood - Who will get the 1st win of the season?  Elwood may score their first CIC points this season, but I'll take Frankton for the win.

Madison-Grant @ Mississinewa -  Unfortunately for the Argylls in this county rival the get to meet an angry squad coming off of a loss, as they did in week 3.  Indians by as much as they want.

Oak Hill @ Eastbrook - Coming off a big win for the Panthers they don't let off the pedal.  Last game of their homestand, 3rd county rival, going for that Grant 4 sweep.  No rest for the wicked, starters resting early in this game.

Good luck to all this week and an injury free Friday night!

I busted my Butt playing football in school, from the time I earned my first letter in 96 to the time I graduated in 2002, I even set the school record for most quarters played, one which I am extremely proud of, and hope it remains for a long time.

I'd hope you set the Quarter record with a 6 year high school career.  Most above average athletes only get 4 years to try to achieve what you were able to do in 6...  Probably came from Kentucky didn't ya?

But tonight, finally a quality opponent, The Mighty Eastbrook Panthers.  Out to prove a point that having quality out of conference opponents have made them a stronger team.  And if anybody will learn and excel from losses it is Coach Adamson and his staff.

    Just sayin....

You think Ole Miss best team was last year? That's not even close to being accurate. With that being said, i don't believe this will be close tonight. Ole Miss by 2-3 TDs.

No, my point was that it seems like every year it's their "best team" ever, according to their fans...
