  1. Started with a drive by WL, they turned it over on downs and Chatard turned it back over on the next play if I remember correctly
  2. You are correct. Most around here, including myself, believed it would be more of a rebuild year. But they did return seven starters on defense and still have a lot more to work with. They looked lost without Yoon and Patel for the first three games, but they came together and have put on a show ever since, surprising everyone.
  3. I see where you’re coming from, and I definitely think Lawrenceburg is underdog here, but that East Central game was just a terrible display for the Lawrenceburg program. Even the Taylor and Milan games didn’t look very good at all. Tremendous improvement came as they figured it out over the next few weeks. They have blown out every team by at least 24 points since those first three games where they figured themselves out, and I don’t know how far they can stretch that because of the lack of great competition, but I do know that they are much better than a 35 point loss to EC.
  4. Temp probably has Chatard winning by 45. Hopefully the Tigers can continue to prove people wrong. Chatard is scary good though, so it’ll take a really good game.
  5. Monrovia just beat Owen Valley, so Lawrenceburg will host Monrovia or Southridge will play at Monrovia in semi-state. Monrovia really knows how to keep the ball for a very long time throughout the game, so while the winner of this game should be able to beat them, it definitely will not be a cakewalk.
  6. If anyone has questions about Lawrenceburg, ask away. I’m no football expert but I’ve been to the every game this season. Overall, I think our team has improved a lot over the season. The first three games did not look good at all, but then they started the shutout streak. Our defense isn’t quite as good as a six game shutout streak suggests, but the number of clutch stops in the red zone could make a big difference in this game. The offense is extremely run-heavy. We beat South Dearborn 35-6 in sectionals without throwing a single pass.
  7. I know it’s not the topic of this conversation, but Lawrenceburg is not a guaranteed win for either of these teams, lol
