Back in 2000, Everyone said that the Luers football team was the best in all classes. Many fans said Luers was a lock on winning a state championship. Along comes a team from Evansville that many of us had never heard of and cleaned house on Luers 56-10. ANY team that makes it this far is very dangerous and should not be taken lightly. This is why I don't make predictions.

I was not aware of the drive time. I wish safe travels for them.

I read online that NP football team is traveling to Indy Friday morning. Are they staying overnight before the game?

Wow! Sounds like the "Blue Blood" Luers Knights don't have much of a chance, although I am sure they will make an appearance.

I am sure that both the coaches and officials miss my sweat voice from the stands

If it makes any difference, they got trounced by EN and NH first. After those loses then they blew threw an underwhelming SAC schedule.

Luers Dads do a very good job of taking care of Luers Field. It is natural grass though. Is rain predicted in Fort Wayne for next Friday night?

Bluffton looks good this year. From what I have seen and read, the Tigers have earned respect and Luers must take them seriously.

It does not matter if it is on an app> From the IHSAA site: "To see state finals events, viewers will need to download the free IHSAAtv app to their devices (e.g., a computer, phone or OTT/television appliance device) or visit IHSAAtv.org. The prices to view state finals contests will be the same as buying a ticket at the venue: generally $15 per game or $20 for an all-access pass. Even if Luers made it to the state game. I would not be paying just to watch it on my computer. They use to air it for free on television (with commercials of course).

Looks like the hit that Tyquan Hammock put on Garrett Meador. I don't even think targeting existed back then.

Wish I could watch this game, but with the IHSAA having PPV, looks like I will have to skip it. Not a great way to promote Indiana High School Sports.
