  1. Based on the caliber of the games, a lot of fans appear to have made the right call Now the question is how many paid the money to stream, and I highly doubt that will be revealed.
  2. https://www.ihsaa.org/media/news/all-2023-24-state-finals-stream-exclusively-ihsaatvorg Thoughts?
  3. Give my dawg "46 Sports" credit...this was his post
  4. That's a tough ask for anyone....to do color for a game with no prep time.
  5. That doesn't address the discrepancy I brought up. So instead of blaming WHME -- which has done more for high school sports than any TV station in the northern part of the state -- could you possibly explain the discrepancy in how regions of the state are treated by this TV deal?
  6. This is the feeling I have living in the northern part of the state, as well. There is no one in the Bally Sports Indiana service area that is paying that much per month for that cable channel. The IHSAA is well-aware that Bally Sports Indiana doesn't reach into the north, or else they wouldn't have allowed WHME to air the games for all those years. So, basically, they are punishing people in the northern -- and as I read this, the southern part -- of the state. It truly is an unequitable situation. Not to mention, you are completely missing the opportunity to get the casual viewer who might come past your game and see your product for a while I get the fact that the IHSAA controls the rights and can do what they want with them. But to run the media campaign "this is your IHSAA"? Apparently, that's only true in the markets that receive Bally Sports Indiana.
  7. That is correct. He was the principal thee and pushed hard for that. The field at New Prairie is named for him.
  8. Has Snider faced any option teams this season? Because this is not an easy offense to defend. This is going to be a very physical contest. As always, turnovers are huge. Win that battle, win the game.
  9. Stadium was built back in the 1930s. Pictureque setting. But they did not get synthetic turf.
  10. There's a ton of stuff within 10 minutes of the school. Evil Czech is a good craft brewery up on Main Street. There's a Hacienda on Lincolnway a few minutes from the school if you want Mexican food. Rulli's is a good Italian place. Plenty to choose from. Parking will be your biggest issue. If you can park in the school lot, go for it. Otherwise, the streets around the stadium are narrow and fill up fast.
  11. Winamac-North White is the only close game in the bunch.
  12. Penn only scored 31 on Portage. They won't score 31 on Cathedral
