  1. Donnie w the dub.
  2. I think you should have picked against the team that gave up quite a few passing tds to Culver and South Central. Yeah I think Pioneer or Carroll probably would have had a better game.
  3. Conference will be pretty solid 1-6 next year. Gonna be a fun year.
  4. Fastest kid I've see this year. Taylor folks say he's the type of kid that's good at anything he does, hopefully for Taylor this season can be used as a springboard to get more kids excited for ball.
  5. South Adams passing looks impressive. Not sure how good their oline is but if they can give the QB time, the skilled guys can get into some space. They could score on NJ a couple times. Not sure if they can win though. South Adams passing game is better compared to any of Judson's opponents. North Judson is probably pretty similar to Madison Grant except Judson can throw a bit more and isn't as run heavy. I'm sure Judson is more physical and better up front compared to MG.
  6. Pioneer had major issues with Taylor's speed. Rans couldn't outrun anyone tonight. Taylor's D is tough. I was impressed that Winamac threw for 126 and their main back ran for 118. It definitely didn't look like they did that much. Good for those Taylor kids. After how they treated Xavier Adriano, im a fan.
  7. Congrats to Taylor on their first Sectional. 28-6 over Pioneer. Harris kid is fast!
  8. I think Taylor's defense did fine. I think Pioneer had the same issue Winamac did. Taylor has a lot of speed. I said awhile back the Harris kid is the fastest kid I've seen Winamac play all year.
  9. Never said he wasn't a top player. I just said I think Rans will be the best player in the conference. I think Kevin is yes. He's the reason the success factor exists.
  10. I think Adam is a great coach but the guy West of him takes the title. Mr Kevin O Shea. If you are gonna diminish what Adam has done at Pioneer because the program he inherited, you can take Coach Radtkes Griffith and Knox jobs away. Griffith was a solid program before he took over with a lot of talent coming up through the pipelines..particularly Bo and Shane's classes..which both were aided by their additions..and John Hendryx had that program humming and only left because his alma Mater opened up. John would be having the same success at Knox (plus they'd still have Danny McGowen on the sidelines+ his sons) I will say though Coach Radtke is legit and a great coach.
  11. I imagine Taylor has probably improved since week 3, that's just a guess. I don't really compare scores but here's an example. Taylor barely beat North White. Tri County rolled North White. Taylor easily beat Tri County. I'm not saying Taylor is gonna win but #12 was the fastest kid I saw Winamac play this season.
  12. Of course you would. He's from judson and you are a Judson guy.
  13. Eastern a team that lost to Carroll by 2 touchdowns beat Rochester who doesn't play that bad of a schedule. I'm just guessing but maybe Carroll is a good team but not as good as their rankings showed and Pioneer has simply got better as the season went along and maybe Carroll having the success they've had in the past couple seasons could have came in over confident and were caught off guard on how good Pioneer is and before you knew it.. it was 22-0. No but Micah Rans did his best impersonation.
  14. Right and people can say their conference isn't strong or whatever but a team Carroll beat by 2 scores ended up beating a solid Rochester team last night. I was impressed with Pioneer week 3 with Rans and Van Meter. I imagine next year they'll be probably conference favorites and probably one of the few state title contenders in the north. Rans will definitely be the best player in the conference next season as well.

    IU 2024

I'm sort of curious what they do after the season. Do they ride with Jackson/Mendoza/Cherry or do they bring in another guy.
  16. I'm biased a bit since John Hendryx helps at Carroll. I'm picking them.
  17. Thank you! I was really impressed w a lot of their kids! As I was watching the game I noticed both teams play a lot of younger kids. Taylor w Juniors and sophomores and Winamac with a lot of sophomores and freshman. As a Winamac fan we saw a lot of lumps this past year but 2025 should be better and 2026 and 2027 should be really good ones! Hopefully both teams can match up next year, have a feeling it'll be a good one! This one was pretty exciting (looking at it through my eyes) until the 4th when Taylor pulled away.

    IU 2024

I'm not gonna compare both outcomes but with a healthy Rourke...outside of the top SEC teams. I think Indiana might be the best.
  19. Heard they did the same thing to the 02 jays too.
  20. As the Warriors season finished up last night, I have a lot of thoughts. I honestly came into this season thinking they weren't going to win a single game and I think with as many freshman and sophomores they played winning 4 games is a plus. They beat the teams they should have and lost to the ones they should have. First time since 1996 a freshman QB started game 1 and it's the 2nd time ever a freshman was a day 1 starter. I thought Xavier Adriano did a fine job, you see the potential there. I thought senior Aiden Schooler filled in admirably for couple games despite never playing QB in his life. Up front, oh boy. Talen Garner played his heart out all year. Senior Reed Anderson missed most of it as did Sophomore Lucas Perez and freshman Layne Tetzloff. Sophomore Cody Wheeler missed the last 3 weeks. Freshman Aaron Hardin and Alex Stonebraker started or played most of the year. Freshmen Hunter Haschel and Braxtyn Shidler got into the rotation later in the year. Kale Federer and Josh Crawford both juniors also started. I hope all nine come back, it's a nice mix skilled guys.. I thought Junior Ethan Burgess improved a bunch from last year. I thought senior Addison Allen had some nice games. Sophomore Louis Rugg missed a few games but had some nice catches. Sophomore Tearson Wolford ran hard and physical. Imo. He's definitely gonna crack the top 10 all time in rushing and tackles by the time he graduates barring anything. Sophomore Ivan Cardenas and Senior Aiden Schooler despite limited touches showed some physicality and speed. defensively Hard to replace Garner and Allen. I imagine Tearson Wolford will make another step, I'm hoping Sophomore Michael Shidler can slid into a role. He's got a nose for the ball and busts his butt out there. I liked what I saw the last 3 games from him...will be interesting to see how Hayden Taylor, Kalyn Runk and Josh Crawford do as seniors. I bet sophomore Jager Terry finds a way to get a role and I'm sure Louis Rugg will take a step. Kids have to be more physical and have to get stronger. As a fan, I see a 4-5, 5-4 record next year and are able to compete with Pioneer, North Miami, North Judson and Triton. I'm not sure they'll be able to beat those 4 but hopefully they can COMPETE.
  21. I considered it impressive because how many times has Taylor even beat Sheridan? I don't ever find kids playing football good, bad or ugly comical. It's 14-18 year old kids trying their best. That team just confused me completely. Winamac struggled with the speed of Taylor and it seems both teams had struggled w the injury bug and turnovers most of the year. I was just surprised at their North White and Blackhawk scores...maybe as I said previously that the turnover issues were big for them and maybe it kept them from beating those teams worse, I was told they had a bunch of turnovers vs Tri Central which kept that game close and lost them the Eastern game.
  22. I also again, tho What makes that Sheridan win even more impressive was Harris not playing in that game. I stand corrected, Harris played against Tri Central had a catch for 15 yards but didnt have a single carry. He was the big difference tonight in our game. He was involved in all their touchdowns tonight, probably the fastest kid Winamac has seen this year. They got other kids that were decent but he clearly won them the game tonight.
  23. Can anyone tell me the story on Taylor? I know #12 missed a good portion of their season but how did they barely beat Blackhawk and North White.
  24. Give Taylor a lot of credit. They played really well tonight. #12 was a stud, seemed he missed majority of the season and came back last week in the 2nd half. Winamac again was plagued by some penalties and turnovers... I remember atleast 3 maybe 4 turnovers. Biggest play of the game was in the 3rd Q down 6-21 near Taylor's end zone and a Taylor screen was dropped behind the line of scrimmage and no warrior jumped on it, a heady play by a Taylor player turned a would be touchdown for winamac to a big play for Taylor for a first down. Winamac finishes 4-5 on the season and returns majority of their squad, hopefully the kids can get a little taller, little heavier and stronger. I certainly enjoyed watching Talen Garner and Addison Allen the last 3 years. Glad Aiden Schooler came out last season and Reed Anderson this season. Really depends on what Winamac team shows up. Tonight or last week. Those 3 would lay the hammer down.
  25. How has Madison Grant been the surprise team? They went 8-4 last season and only lost 5 starters. Their 4 losses last year were to Alexandria, Eastbrook, Mississinewa and Adams Central lol. Madison Grant, Carroll and Judson yes. Frontier is having a good season but that schedule yikes.
