Had more thoughts. I thought North Miami did a great job at controlling the clock. It felt like Winamac had only 2 possessions in the first half. NM had a "fumble" that was considered a forward pass and another fmble they recovered, missed opportunities. Winamac played without Xavier Adriano and with the rain it was more evident that Winamac wasn't gonna throw. I thought NM brought the physicality and once again the OL/DL were not ready for that. I was impressed with Aiden Schooler. He became the starting QB last Monday and had never played QB before. I was impressed with #52 up front. Hoover the QB and some of their other skilled guys. I think NM did a good job offensively of making sure where they knew where #7 and #54 were. I liked the defensive stand right before half and the emotion the kids started out with in 2nd half. I hope the kids find that emotion for the rest of the season. I was glad to see how they scored two quick tds to tie it but wearing down, silly penalties then being forced to throw a bit created some turnovers. Onto North Judson. Can't believe it's week 7 next Friday.

The only thing that could stop Judson from making it to state is Madison Grant and themselves.

14-14 in the 3rd. Thought the defense did okay, offense was limited even more with Aiden Schooler at QB. Made some nice passes and a nice rub but some turnovers and just wearing down hurt the Warriors and NM rolled for most of 3rd and all of the 4th. Think next year will be a fun game. Should get a traveling trophy between NM and Winamac.

Winamac is going through that right now, I'm legitimately worried about South Central game. I think healthy that's a team Winamac can beat but with taking some bumps last week and 2 more weeks of bigger and physical teams on the schedule, not sure how healthy the Warriors will be for SC.

Are the wildermuths and hoover related to Jim and WC?

I'll also add 1999 North white, 2006 south newton and 2016 Whiting along with the 2023 Knox squad. I imagine the 2024 Judson will make the list.

I think they'll lose but they won't get pummeled. I thought Winamac's defense looked alright, just some miscues and big plays. Triton will be fine this season and should be pretty solid next year. Our kids are definitely sore. Adriano and Wolford took some hits tonight.

I don't even think this is North Judson's best team ever let alone beating those Kiser led teams. Pioneer imo was so good Jack's senior year, they win state without him, albeit closer. I'd really love to see Winamacs 2000 team face this Judson team. Both teams are very similar. Big offensive lines, very physical style of play and good athletes all over. Winamac offensive line that year went 215 T 260 G 204 C 324 G 250 T 290 TE They were also battle tested Beat 8-0 Frontier by 33. They finished 8-2 Beat North White in a tough match up who finished 11-3 Beat 8-2 Lewis Cass by 2 who went 8-2 Beat Eastbrook by 35 or 42 who went 7-4 Beat Delphi by 3 tds who went 9-3.

Indiana could be 6-0 going into Maryland. I'll be on the conservative side and say 5-1. Rourke is looking really good, seems to be an upgrade over Sorsby. Cross, Price, Sarratt, Williams and Cooper Jr looking solid. I hope McCulley can get healthy. Defense is looking fine. Just need to cut back on penalties.

Lucky they got the win*. Fat fingers! I'll elaborate more. Culver had two costly turnovers early, winamac scored off both. Culver decided to do what West Central did in the 2nd half, run up the middle and it worked decent. Both teams had sloppy penalties and fumble issues on the Warrior side. Xavier Adriano had a really nice pitch to Addison Allen late, thought Tearson Wolford played well. Louis Rugg had a td. I continue to feel super old, I remember Xaviers dad playing, as Louis' dad, went to school with Wolfords dad and mom and was a grade behind Addison Allen's dad and same grade as his mom. Oh well. Good for the kids to be 2-1, got Triton, North Miami and North Judson the next 3 weeks, hope the kids play hard, understand all 3 teams have more experience and keep their heads up...brighter days are ahead.

Sloppy game for both winamac and Culver. Winamac lucky go win!

Winamac. I liked what I saw defensively for the most part against Pioneer. I think Winamac will be able to run up the middle some but I'd like to see them use their speed to the outside. I think the score will be 28-13 Judson 50. North Miami 8 Pioneer 42 Caston 6 Triton 40. South Central 8.

And when I said I agree they do... it's meaning athletes. Not gonna comment on the coaches.

I will also say this. I can understand at keeping things simple for this year with basically no offense experience coming back outside of 3 kids. I'm hoping that X's junior year is when you'll really start to see a more spreading it out offense. X with his throwing/running ability and some quick skilled guys like current sophomores Louis Rugg, Ivan Cardenas, Tearson Wolford and some freshman who just aren't big enough yet like Jager Terry and Cameron Hilton to get in the open and make some plays. Hunter Haschel is another kid whose put together well for a freshman but just needs to get stronger. I think the line will come around in a couple years, lots of freshman playing currently there and a sophomore with another sophomore out for the season. I'm just trying to focus on this year though because Addison Allen and Talen Garner have played their hearts out the last two seasons and are playing hard this season as well.
-
I wouldn't say for years. It's been a struggle for the last two and this year and in coach Barrs last two years (mainly due to young lineman) but offensively from 2012-2016 and 2020 along with 2021 I didn't have many complaints offensively. And I've seen some pretty questionable stuff from North Judson.. like in the 2020 match up.. that whole last game.. I just shook my head.
-
I will agree they do. I thought once they tried getting Ethan Burgess and Tearson Wolford to the outside, things looked much better. All I will say is, I was bummed when Mark stepped down as the OC. I get why he did it but I was bummed.

Tough game for the Warriors. I thought the defense did alright in the first Q and part of the 2nd. Pioneer scored two quick TDS and the final 5 mins or so of the 2nd Q. I was proud of the kids for playing hard and not giving up, with how young they are they'll have games like this. They just have to use this as a building block.

Oh I know, at my job I work with a few NM alums and see a lot of NM people, so I know they have a lot coming back and should be fine. I was just saying that Sheridan lost a lot and is probably over ranked so it's not like they beat a stud Sheridan team but that win should boost the kids morale. I don't know if the Bowyer kid is back but the sophomore Rigney will still be out, I think if both play this game is closer than the score you predicted but since one or both aren't playing. It'll probably be right around what you said.
