    I want him to win and be happy. Doesn’t matter where he goes, if he works hard everything will fall into place as it has now. BUT looking at what another Columbus kid did by going to Louisville (Devin Mann) I would say following in those footsteps would be just fine.

    Columbus East defeats Avon 10-3 to advance to the State Title game. Cole Gilley (IU Commit) with 11 strikeouts and gives up 6 hits.

    Columbus East had a miraculous comeback against Jeffersonville today, down 3 with 2 outs and nobody on, they score 3 in the 7th to force extra innings, Dalton Back hits a home run in the 9th to advance to the Regional title game. Dalton Back hits a Grand Slam in the title game, and East beats Castle 5-1 to advance to the Semi-State next week.

    Columbus East has picked up a monster for week 3 of next year. They have picked up Pickerington Central out of Ohio.. Pickerington won the D1 state championship 2 years ago I believe.

    I believe Greenwell is going to Wright State. Gilley is going to IU and Back is going to Miami,OH

    East Baseball is on a roll this year.. 6-0 outscored opponents 56-6... 3 pitchers going D1... Greenwell struck out 15 against Cathedral.. East is a Top 5 team in the state.. they are been good the last few years, they turned a corner this year...

    Cole Gilley - Columbus East Last year - 2463 yards passing 28 TD’s 5 INT’s. He’s also a D1 baseball recruit as well.

    Congrats to McCall! Great student-athlete and have heard nothing but great things about him from anyone that has spoken about him. As for the Hoosier Hills this upcoming year, this will be one of Coach Gaddis’ better teams. The downfall is, Center Grove will be absolutely loaded this year.
