East had a pretty good defensive performance against Whiteland, and then the rivalry game was a wild one (which always is) so it doesn’t surprise me... so far they have held up against a Top 12 team in the country. PC runs a ton of different players, and formations..

Columbus East - 0 Pickerington Central (OH) - 0 End of 1. This is a surprise considering PC is ranked top 12 in the country. I’m sure the floodgates will open soon.

I had to write an apology letter to Bloomington South after sectionals for what the student section did/said during one of the basketball games. My megaphone got taken from me the 3rd game of the football season. I loved getting out school on friday’s packing 6-8 deep in 2-3 different cars and rolling into other school parking lots at like 4:30 or earlier and watching all the other schools look at us like who the F are these guys 😂😂. Tailgates here B****** LOL

East had 6 turnovers that game. Was not a pretty sight.

Exactly, but we have the 2019 mentality... well you know where that’s going. I 100% agree that the mercy rule hurts kids from getting varsity reps and preparing them for next year or later on down the road. I full heartedly agree with your post.

Not much to critique. I think a few might be able to be switched around, but that’s probably the top 15.

After what I saw last night they could have had Carson Steele or Man of Steel... New Pal was the better team. 2 great programs, but New Pal has been the better team 2 years in a row.

I get why they did it, doesn’t mean I like it. CE and New Pal (just naming those 2 because they are 2 schools that have succeeded in bigger classes with much smaller enrollment) succeeded year after year not only because they had great players but because those teams were able to play backups in blowout games against other schools varsity teams. Freshman and Sophmores getting quality snaps and minutes in a varsity type setting. That’s my only argument on this whole topic.

And I understand the mentality of “everyone gets a trophy” The pussifcation of the nation runs strong.

Something needed to be done? How about get better... I know I know, in 2019 that comment might be offensive.

Snider vs New Pal in the State Title game a few years ago.. I believe New Pal was down by like 35 and came back to take the lead and Snider won the game.

New Pal in dominating fashion. Spegal is the best player in the state, and Hook very well might be the 2nd or 3rd best player in the state. Both are absolute STUDS

After an amazing game tonight, he has eclipsed 8000 yards rushing (only the 2nd to ever do that in Indiana) and is 12 away from tying the all time rushing record. Safe to say he might break 10,000.. truly an impressive feat.

East is better than last year, East will only get better as the year goes on. East started out 0-2 last year. My expectations are the same... they will more likely than not lose to Center Grove, but I would love a rematch with North in the sectionals. East started out extremely sloppy tonight and got down 35-13 in the 2nd quarter (North put up 28) that includes a kickoff return for a TD and a snap over the East punters head that put the ball on the 6 yard line for North. CN is big...average 260 on the O-Line and they can move. This game brings out some wild finishes. Tonight was no different.
