    Conference season starts next week for East! Jeff @ East. Hoping the East D plays like it did last night, if so this one will be over by half.

    A lot of people are going to be confused by the CE loss to Columbus North in Week 2... rivalry game, might as well throw that game out the window.. weird stuff happens lol

    Pickerington Central - 20 Columbus East - 14 Final... What a battle by CE against the #12 nationally ranked team... 4th and 1 at midfield and PC was able to just get it and run out the clock.

    Columbus East will end up losing this game 20-14. What a terrific game by East against the best team in the Midwest, and one of the best in the entire country. Absolutely one of the best defensive performances I’ve seen by East against an opponent like that, and the fight they had in the 2nd half. They took it to PC in the late 3rd and almost entire 4th but game up just a bit short. Keep improving boys! It’s conference time now!

    Pickerington Central - 20 Columbus East - 14 2:18 4th Q I literally think East has worn down PC... 14-15 first downs against the #1 team in the Midwest in the 2nd half alone after a total of 51 years in the 1st.. one of the better 2nd half I have seen East play.

    They don’t have to be... they are an elite defense... I’m more impressed by East’s D against these big PC guys.

    You won’t hear this very often... Columbus East halftime stats 19 plays....51 yards.. they gained 32 on the opening possession.. Winter Park Florida last week ran it 21 times for 23 yards... This PC defense is a big reason why they are so good.

    PC is def better than us as a team. They aren’t ranked 12th in the country for no reason. But we can agree to disagree.. I hope we win as much as anyone. It’s been a gritty performance by our D so far, but that PC defense is incredible.
