Venezuela: Poster Child for Socialism
Irishman replied to Muda69's topic in Gridiron Out of Bounds's Out of Bound Forum
Could the point also be argued that a factor in the Civil War was a fight over States having rights over the larger federal authority, and vice versa? -

Once again, it is hard to fight the feeling that the show is really dragging things out. The previews look like a LOT more is going to happen than what actually does happen in a show.

If this does not make you smile or laugh, I am not sure anything will. Enjoy https://www.hockeyfeed.com/nhl-news/coach-mics-up-his-4-year-old-during-timbits-hockey?ref=jo -
I would say that Francis has done more than all other popes combined in this regard. Defrocking McCarrick is a big deal. Where others tried to ignore or cover it up, Francis did not. Can more be done? Absolutely....without question. There is no reason for me to believe that this pope will accomplish nothing. He has been rocking the boat since he has been installed. Let’s not forget that he recently exposed the “unwritten”, or secret rules for priests that fathered children. The last pope (JP I) to actually attempt a cleansing on this level did not last long at the helm. There is reason to hope.

Jussie Smollett attack - real or staged?
Irishman replied to swordfish's topic in Gridiron Out of Bounds's Out of Bound Forum
Going to venture a guess, as it was I who posted a meme. Not suggesting that he gets out of the responsibility for doing what he did, but why weren’t the others charged for false reporting? -
I wonder how many people posting actually know the coach personally? To make a broad sweeping statement expressing concern about a MS coach being hired is not fair. It is apparent from a coouple of posters that know him that he is qualified for this position. Best of luck to the coach and the Gavit program.

Thoughts to East Central Community

Praying for the family from here as well. -
Time for another regular topic to return. Sad part to this one though is the level of truth behind it (not the kid being fired, but the likelihood that a kid actually made the shoes) https://sports.theonion.com/nike-fires-8-year-old-shoemaker-responsible-for-zion-wi-1832801206?utm_medium=SocialMarketing&utm_source=Facebook&utm_campaign=SF&utm_content=Main

I posted this in the next level forum, but it deserves a spot here as well. https://www.wane.com/news/local-news/kids-with-prosthetic-s-meet-shaquem-griffin/1797240275 -

He is getting bad advice if he is a one and done. This season has proven he is not even close to ready for the pro ball. He very well could get stuck in the D league. He will lose a lot of fans if all of the sudden he has a break out rookie season; it would mean he just went through the motions this season with no real interest in the IU program. I did see a good picture of Landon Turner with him in the hallway with no one else around after the game. I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall there.

Not at all satisfied with the "just competing". I said that merely from the standpoint of multiple games recently, including Saturday, where they simply showed no competitiveness at all. Had they played with the kind of hustle and competitiveness they did last night the entire season, They would have more wins and would definitely be in consideration for the tourney.

That was likely the final nail in the coffin on this season. Archie was spot on at his halftime interview. They were getting shots. They cannot miss so many from point blank range against a good shooting team like Purdue. Sure enough, continued missed shots inside hurt them. That said, at least they competed; which is something you cannot say about other recent games.

QBs to Watch in 2019? (All 4 Classes)
Irishman replied to coachburton's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
I just assumed you meant classes as in grades; freshmen, sophomore, etc. -
I hope so. I get that he may be right in what he said; I just don't think it is something to be said in the media.

There was a question last night on TTD. The host asked one of guests why there seems to be so much more focus on relationships starting now than in previous years. I think you just provided the answer.
