I just read through this topic; in my mind attacking someone's family or daughter; especially when none of them even know you or have ever said a thing to you, should be off limits. As someone with no dog in the fight, you have gone WAY over the line of what is acceptable. Disagree with IO all day long; take shots at him, and let it go back and forth; but bringing his daughter into it and to continue attacking her is pretty low.

The Talking Dead brought up some stuff that I did not catch. The part where Negan was kneeling on the ground was the spot where he killed Glenn. Speaking of that, someone refresh my memory, is Maggie gone? I could not recall, and seeing the commercials for the new show on ABC with Lauren Cohan made me wonder. One other question about the girl that was captured. Was that Darryl's face on er mask? I agree SF; she was not telling the truth. The extended preview on TTD actually shows that her mom is one of the leaders of the whisperers.

New Donald Trump thread
Irishman replied to Muda69's topic in Gridiron Out of Bounds's Out of Bound Forum
It is rare that I have ever watched it. I think the 2002 one was the last time I watched. -
There are some advantages to having so many on one campus; speaking strictly of academics. These schools are able to offer a much wider variety of courses for students. The only time I ever really noticed the large class size was honestly at graduation. We had close to 800 in our class. I never felt any of my classes were overcrowded. Having friends teach in these schools now, the same can be said. It may be limiting for athletics in these schools. I have said for a LONG time and still believe that the hesitation in splitting schools, at least in Central Indiana, goes back to the time when Lawrence Township split into 2 schools. That said, the HSE split was unusual, with Fishers going to a State championship in a very short time. To me, it shows just how much talent was in HSE prior to the split. I will say it was the best decision that Fishers made.

Recruiting Officials: Thinking Outside the Box
Irishman replied to Bobref's question in Officiating Forum
One thing I did when I taught PE is have kids rotate responsibilities that included being an official for a given game we were playing. -
Something uplifting - v2

Not the typical article to find here, but definitely worth posting here. So many puns to go with it. How great it would be to keep the fire burning at 96, right? 😄 https://worldnewsdailyreport.com/elderly-couple-accidentally-burns-house-down-during-sex-game-involving-ww2-flamethrower/?fbclid=IwAR1T_MZg-yek_aqUHNAddfDPLvRIZjI85O_avwd6piAzwdjsh40urI39sFk -
Make the Moral Case for Capitalism
Irishman replied to Muda69's topic in Gridiron Out of Bounds's Out of Bound Forum
The concern for many, especially people living paycheck to paycheck, is that crony capitalism has replaced what is sold to us as just capitalism. The system needs to be cleaned up. I am not a fan of the income tax thing and making others pay more, but the fact is there are too many loopholes already in place for those that would be affected most. I have long supported the fair tax system to replace income tax. Term limits is something else that needs to happen as well. I still believe there are fixes that can happen. But for many young people, having more that is given to them is a more attractive thing right now, not saying feasible, but definitely more attractive to them. -
Not as silly as the game this evening. I saved myself the headache. It was a must win. As I stated before, they may not win another game.

Update......the publicity the bill received makes the author withdraw the bill and send it to "Summer study". The only claim he had in his defense is that the Senate Ethics Committee lol cleared him of any issues of conflicting interests. https://www.wane.com/news/indiana/indiana-senator-backs-off-repealing-state-child-labor-laws/1739564867

Agreed with except for the shoes thing. It was a Coaches Vs. Cancer awareness thing. Many coaches wore them that weekend.

without a doubt. Honestly, I cannot remember a time when IU EVER lost 6 conference games in a row.

We will see. They have been impressive, but even Clappy had nice runs each year in Bloomington only to fizzle at the end.

The only program that seems able to sustain itself in that culture is Duke. Calipari was able to do it for a while. But once they fall off, it seems it’s difficult to recover. My guess is that Cal takes his show to Westwood next season. It may work for a while out there, as no one has mastered it out West. Coach K is head and shoulders above the crowd now. As far as Romeo goes, there might be issues, but is seems teams have figured out they can pack the lane as it is the only high percentage area for IU to score from. But the way the season started, the team at least worked hard, especially on defense. I do think something off the court happened. Not sure if Green’s suspension was a by product or a catalyst to what has happened. I am worried that a loss to Rutgers, which seems likely, will put Archie on the hot seat. Sure it is just his second year, but the lack of competitiveness against Michigan is just not what anyone would expect from an IU team. If he has lost the team, that is a difficult thing to overcome.

Go to the facebook page Teabonics to find this one. There are some great comments to go with this. I just scanned the actual tweet from the President. The replies there.....wow An FYI, the President based this tweet on a bill that has been proposed in this session of the General Assembly here in Indiana. It passed out of committee.
